I think you could use those points,
( already banked ? and about to expire) ,
at some of the cash rooms on Disney property. The conversion is not usually suggested because it offers little value but would be better than losing those points.
Either way, availability is very narrow for 50 th Anniversary and return of fireworks, etc. Also flights are very expensive.

Does anybody know of terms to rescind…I know you have 10 days but what if it has actually passed ROFR , etc. and is the buyer or the seller still responsible for the commission?

Resale points can not be used for non DVC resorts so not an option.

You have 10 days to rescind as a buyer from the date you signed the contract. Once that has passed, you lose the deposit as a buyer and as a seller if you rescind you owe commission.

It sounds like the offer has not been officially accepted and a contract not drawn up yet? Make another offer or do nothing. The contract will expire if not signed and returned. If you really want the contract, I'd talk to the broker and modify the offer.
