2020 WDW here we come!

It will be 20 years in 2020 that I made my last visit to WDW (and forum boards like this one.) In 2020 my dh and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary (honeymoon was at WDW). So I told him 2020 I want to go to WDW he agreed without hesitation (he knows how hard it has been for me to wait this long). There will be 5 adults making this trip in 2020. We will stay at a value or moderate (can't bring myself to spend alot of money on a room I only plan on sleeping and showering in).
My question for this budget board is (and maybe my question should be directed somewhere else) when planning a WDW budget for 2020 how much would you add on for increased ticket prices, room prices and airfare (there are of course no quarantees but my dd and her significant other want to start saving now!)
I'm so excited to be planning this trip already you have no idea.

Congrats - we also honeymooned at WDW and will be returning this year for our 20th Anniversary - though we have been a few times in between as well.

In terms of budget, it is hard to say, but if you figure a 10% increase over todays prices, then that should give you a good budget. However, much will depend on time of year, offers you can take advantage of, the economy, etc.

You have a lot of time to plan and I second the advice from @disneedee above - check out the 'I love credit cards' thread for lots of ideas to use credit cards to amass points to help pay for your trip. For our trip next month - over $5,000 of the costs are being 'paid for' using points acquired through credit cards.

I would put it at a 5%-7% increase per year. So, looking at an 11%-15% increase between now and 2020. The package rates for 2019 are rumored to come out on June 19th. That should give you a better picture of what to expect in 2020. However, ticket price increase have been announced in February the last couple of years. And I would expect a huge leap in rack rates at the Epcot resorts, CBR and AoA when the gondola system is completed and SWGE opens (late 2019).

The great thing is that you have LOTS of time to save! Even better? You came to the budget board for advice.

Like @disneedee and @GZanta77 I went to the CC thread. Info overload, but I did learn about airline CC's and only paid for two of our five airline tickets for our trip this year (not counting the fees, which were only $25 each). I didn't have as much time as you did. Those churners make some serious cash. Some day, I hope I'm there. Everything depends on the time and dedication you have to "earn" the money.
