Thinking about a visit to the World next year. Just concerned about all of the closures and refurbs that were recently announced during D23. Anyone out there have a trip planned for next year ? Any concerns about what will be under construction ?

We are planning to go May 2018 but any closures or construction won't change our plans. It's a multi-gen trip, staying at Poly for 9 nights and we're going to have an awesome time no matter what:)

Only major closures will be Great Movie Ride and Universe of Energy. Anything else closed would be a refurb most likely. We don't know all of the refurbs for 2018 yet though.

It's not so much the closures that have me a bit "off", it's all the construction.

I know there has to be construction to bring us all these new things, and I know I'll be happy by 2021, but there's going to be fencing and scrims EVERYWHERE!

We're planning for September 2018. My biggest concern is resort construction while we are there. So far I've seen long term construction at Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach and Old Key West - so we are avoiding those resorts and checking back frequently to see if there have been updates.
