2018 Restaurant List question

I have a list of the restaurants participating in 2018 and it does not include most of the World Showcase restaurants in Epcot. But, if I try to make an ADR for those restaurants after having checked the "dining plans accepted" box on the dining site, many of the Epcot restaurants do show availability. I assume the list was just incomplete. But, should I be concerned that the plan won't be accepted? TIA

This comes up every fall. The list is currently incomplete and only includes the Disney owned restaurants. The third party restaurants have until the end of December to negotiate their contracts with Disney, but so far only one restaurant has dropped out of the program and that restaurant eventually returned. You can use the current list as a fairly good guide to which ones will be participating again next year.

Start to worry on January 2 if you get denied at one of those restaurants. Seriously, don’t worry. They’ll come through, even if the website doesn’t get updated.

In the history of the dining plan, IIRC, exactly ONE restaurant did not renew for a following year, and I think it re-added the year after that. Historically, you're safe assuming a 2017 restaurant will be on plan in 2018 unless the restaurant itself is closing.

Thanks for the replies. I noticed this morning on the WDW website that when you perform a restaurant search and filter by "2018 Dining Plan", virtually every restaurant appears - including all of the Epcot restaurants that are not on the current version of the "participating restaurants list" PDF. So I agree it is very safe to assume the list just hasn't been updated yet.

Contracts for non-Disney owned restaurants are negotiated in December. Which is to say: It is way too early to bother caring. No one is working on those contracts yet.

I also noticed that none of the Disney springs restaurants were on the list. Glad to know that they may be added. Quick question....if I book a package and don't do Disney dining plan and then book my restaurants at the 180 day mark. Can I add the dining plan after making those reservations and still keep the reservations that I have?

Pretty sure that was Fulton's. They were on the plan the first year, then gone, then only on the premium and platinum plans, then back for all plans.
