2018 Port Orleans Riverside OR Caribbean Beach

We have only been to Disney World once, last year, in June, in the terrible heat. We are planning on going back next year, in December. We stayed at Pop last time. This time, 5 of us are going so my choices are 2 rooms at Pop, or stay at Riverside or Caribbean Beach. Which would yall recommend? And why? This will be 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 9, 7, and 6. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Never stayed at Riverside. Depends on the room rate for Pop or Caribbean. You might get a good rate nightly where two connecting rooms at Pop would work. Caribbean I believe can sleep 5 they have that pull down bed.

Riverside alligator bayou sleeps five as long as one is small.

Por is our fav resort! CBR is experiencing a lot of construction. Main buildings, food court and gift shop are demolished. They have a truck for gift shop. And food trucks. A tented area for tables & chairs.

I would do POR since CBR is undergoing a lot of construction right now. I've stayed at CBR twice and loved it and I want to try POR one day.

Since we are planning in 2018, should Caribbean Beach be finished with construction? Is Riverside more for grown ups? What is the bus service like at both Riverside and Caribbean Beach?
