2018 - Late September or Late October

Hi All,

We're planning a trip from Australia to Disney World next year. Just trying to settle on dates.

We're looking at either 20th September to 30th September, 2018 or 25th October to 4th November, 2018.

Was wondering if there are any insights that might help us decide on dates. Apart from the visiting the parks we'd like to also be able to swim and would prefer less crowded if possible.

Crowds would probably be somewhat lighter in September, but not greatly so. It would probably be quite hot yet. Late October/early November should be more comfortable weather-wise and also farther from prime hurricane season. Also it would be interesting to see MK change from Halloween to Christmas overnight.

I agree with PP. September will have somewhat lighter crowds but the weather will be hotter and rain more. Late October, while busier, will be better weather. And with the way Disney is extending holiday parties, you may be able to do both the Halloween party and Christmas party with a late October/early November trip if they start the Christmas party a few days earlier than this year.
