Hi. I booked two verandah rooms last Saturday on a June 5 night double dip, so a few days after opening day. I played around online for a while looking at difference categories and floors. I was very surprised at how few rooms showed up to select for each category. We needed connecting rooms and there were very few of those left. Are the ships filling up already?

The Panama Canal West bound has been sold out for a long while now. Every now and then showing a room here or there.

I think many people book with a small deposit just in case. Not knowing if they can really go. Most cabins are refundable up to x amount of days and this gives them over a year to make a decision with a locked in price.

Booked January 26th sailing on Sunday evening there were 8 rooms available the next day I moved my room one over (only 5 left), today only 2 are left a week later! So glad we booked. Seems so far ahead but Disney fans no how to plan, and with Disney prices we need the time to pay it off :scared:.

Double-dip cruises book up much faster than regular itineraries. That is possibly at least partial cause of the issue. The other is that DCL apparently limits how many rooms they show as a selection for stateroom booking. You might want to call and ask about connecting staterooms -- ask if any are available for that sailing and if so where are they. I believe the phone reps have a little more latitude for finding rooms like that than when trying to do it yourself online. Have the fares significantly increased since opening day? If so, that may be more indicative of a full ship than the rooms showing online.

Enjoy your cruise!

Lots of people cancels happens every cruise. I cancelled two cruises this year only going on one cruise this year. I had every intention on going but with lack of overtime I made the budget choice of cancelling two of the three cruises.
