2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

We’re doing something similar. We are doing future world in the morning with FPS for spaceship earth and mission space. Then I got a frozen fp for like 12:30 ish so we can be at booths eating and use that fp.

Haley, which day will you be at Epcot? We are going 23 Oct.

I think that should work - depending on how many booths you want to hit. To be honest I am not sure if they are open during EMH or not

No, they are not open. So we will have to eat at the booth in the morning and before iluminations.

You mentioned earlier that you plan to visit on the EMH day but didn't specify if it was the morning or evening EMH. The F & W booths close at normal park closing time even if the park remains open for PM EMH . The booths will not be open during the PM EMH so you would need to visit them before the Fireworks begin that evening.

Thanks! We will have to go to the booths in the morning and before Iluminations. No way I can eat that much food in two hours so we will have what it is number one in our list and skip the others!

Got our cutting board today! It’s super cute, small and has the same logo as the magnet lasered.

Also, walked by spaceship earth which is closed and leaking water like crazy. No idea what’s going on with that.

Lines to get into Epcot today via parking are INSANE.

I’m pissed that the pass holder Minnie glass was sold out on Day 1. It’s very annoying that there is hardly any information on where passholder items are sold. We asked so many cast members and they just said to check X shop and Y shop. I think they need a new system. I’d love a passholder email to sign up for merchandise and have it reserved for your trip date. It’s very very frustrating that things are sold out and not restocked. Not to mention there needs to be more information on when these items are being released, it’s too close to festival start dates. Not every passholder is in Florida!

Just FYI... one issue I already had with this... when the app updated to add prices, I lost all of the "wished for" and "favorite" selections I had made. Not a huge deal to redo once, but if there are going to be other updates and it happens again, kinda' defeats the purpose of the app a bit. Perhaps my situation was unusual, though.

I had the same thing happen once the prices updated. I went to the filter button and noticed it had turned off the filter for the wished for items. I was able to just turn them back on again. Not sure if that is the same issue you had, just wanted to mention just in case

Day 4 of festival. Reports of an hour wait for the AP cutting board and “system issues.” I’m heading to the Festival Center in a bit and will see... (my first day so not eligible for board yet)

I plan to maybe wait to pick up my magnet AND cutting board after my 4th visit......not too keen on waiting in long lines at the festival center although I *may* have to pick up a bottle of wine for hubby and i to enjoy. I will have to remember to bring our TSA approved corkscrew!

Surely they will have to restock. Where exactly IS the AP stuff anyway......from the live streams I've seen it has to be somewhere at the festival center.

Thanks for the report. Glad I didn't bother to sign up for any of them. I really miss the original Sweet Sundays when they held them in the Odyssey Center.

How were you able to get your cutting board? I thought you had to visit 4 times. So if I enter 2 times on 2 days can I get my board? That would be great!!

We entered on four days in a row starting Thursday. You have to go separate days.

A few booths may open about 10 minutes earlier. I know that if we come in from the International Gateway and hang around, often the booths by UK and Canada start a few minutes early. And last year, I think the ones in the walkway from WS to FW (I forget the names) started a little earlier-but not a lot.
