2018 Armed Forces Salute Resort discount warning!

I've been using the military discounts since 2010, and this is the first year I haven't seen a straight 40-35-30% off by category, AND, this is the first year I've seen blackout dates in the spring. I'm really disappointed, and this is pushing me to go elsewhere.

We've been using the salute discount for as long as they have been offered (2009 I think) and I've always recalled a spring break\easter week blackout.

I was also disappointed in the lower % that seems to be all we can get this year. However, Disney does not have to offer anything. I continue to be grateful for what they do offer.

This is the first time we've had a spring break week that flanks Easter, so you are probably right, I've just never encountered it.

You are right, Disney doesn't have to offer anything. I also don't have to stay on-site. I don't really have to go at all, I buy an annual pass to Universal that pays for itself in one 3 day trip. Starting this fall, I may just buy party tickets and a 1 day entrance into EPCOT for F&W, and just stay at Uni from now on, exclusively.
