Now that WDW has released the dates for their Halloween parties, just wondering when do Disneyland usually announce theirs?

YUP!!!
The west coast waits until the middle of July for the announcement of dates.
With the purchase date for tickets about a week or two later.

So we wait.......

It is really weird. Luckily I unknowingly booked a WDW trip for late August and there are 2 parties during our trip. Last year we did DL September 17-20 and there were no parties...

Until Disney is kind enough to announce the dates for 2017 Halloween Parties at DLR, you can refer to last years Super Thread.
The 2016 Halloween Super Thread will give you an idea of what 2017 might be......

We will be in LA from tues 26th Sep to early morning sat 30th. Am crossing my fingers for a party night on any of those nights. We are in Orlando before flying to LA so will also be attending at party at the MK.

The last two years they had party's from the 9/23/16 weekend so, I think you can be safe to assume they will probably have one this year. Since you need specific dates just watch for the announcement in July and purchase right away so, you make sure you get your tickets. We have been going the same weekend in Oct the last 3 years and are in the pre-planning of selecting our hotel now just to lock it in.

Usually, MHP doesn't start until later in September.
