You can look at the right hand corner above the first post, and click "watch thread." That will put a check next to the thread in the list of DVC Miscellaneous. Then you decide if you want to get emails when people post.

I do not know about keeping in profile, so if I am way off base, sorry.

I am getting extremely anxious for the culinary demonstrations to be released. Right now we've got reservations at BCV for 12 nights, but depending on when the culinary demos are that we want to go to will determine which 7 or so nights we'll keep, and which 5 can be released to make someone else on the WL happy. So I wish they'd hurry up!

Also looking forward to many of the extras. We enjoyed the seminars we attended last year and wondered when they would be announced and when we could register.

I seem to remember that they were released in late July, with DVC/AP members having a day or two to book before general public.

Yep, it's usually late July when they start posting the seminars and events. Then a few days later DVC member, AP holder, Golden Oak residents can book some of the special events, but not all of them.

Disney Food Blog sent an email today that said General Public on the 20th and DVC/AP etc on the 18th. Not firm, but they think those dates might be correct. I believe they also have the menus up.

Does that mean DVC can book on the 18th? And when will they be listed, so I know which one I want before I call. I'm such a slow decider, I hope the culinary demos, what's when, will be out several days before the 18th.

I would keep an eye on DFB. As I recall, the info was out just a few days before we could book so I had to make decisions pretty quickly. The phone numbers to call are also on the blog.
