2017 - February Half Term or Easter?

What would folk go for? Feb half-term - which seems to be President's Holiday week in the US so majorly busy - or Easter - always busy?
We've been many times so lines aren't scary to us and we always tend to be 'rope-drop' people but both seem to be really busy times?? Is Feb half-term really that bad??

February is going to be much cooler and you'll want some jeans and long sleeves for the mornings and evenings. April weather is beautiful, but it is much more crowded. The crowds aren't bad over Presidents day and the local schools only get the one day off so it won't affect your whole trip. Easter will.

i would go for February based on crowd levels...
i've never been there at easter, but it's my understanding it's one of the most crowded times of the year..
as the previous poster mentioned, February can be quite cold, but being in the parks with fewer people is worth it for me..

I'm with you! Just beginning to consider options - maybe paying for a villa with a pool isn't so good at that time as it might be too chilly to enjoy the pool??

I would go Feb over Easter...I would take lower crowds over having to wrap up warmer! But maybe it depends what you want from a holiday? I'd imagine it may not be pool weather, which wouldn't bother my family but I know is more important to others.

If i personally had the choice i would do February -- what a nice thought walking around World showcase without melting... BUT my daughter loves swimming so probably not the best choice for her. Have you considered October half term? that's when we go (but take DD out for 7 days extra). Lovely weather and not too busy.

Mid Feb. can be crowded as well. There are several state in the USA that have winter break and they all flock to Fl. There is also an annual twirl competition at World of Sports. And the Daytona 500 race. Yes you will see a lot of race fans staying at WDW because the hotels near Daytona are sold out. The crowd level is not as bad as Easter. The weather is much colder and swimming is out because it is so cold.

We went Fen a couple of years ago and it was really cold some days. As cold as the UK some days and crowds in Universalwere really bad because of Mardi Gras.
