2017 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

Yeah, anyone wondering about the expo...check the 2016 thread. I'll be going at some weird time, like 2PM, when the crazies have left. I pre-ordered pins and hopefully I'll get an I Did It shirt, but otherwise...I'm making my peace with not getting much this year.

What race time should I put in for proof of time? My actual half marathon time at Tinkerbell? Or should I put in my 10k, which would give me an estimated finish time that would be 10 minutes faster than my actual half marathon time? I never know what to put in.

Did you have a problem with deferral sign up it still wants to charge me the full price and I'm scared to hit the compete button

I resisted posting because it was so close and even though this is just like a bonus sign up day for passholders and DVC, it's still so stressful! Especially when Active decides you weren't really logged in. Ugh. Thanks for the additional gray hairs, Active. Also now delayed talking to my friend's mom about what we were able to register for.

But registered for my first GSC and 5K! I don't normally do the 5Ks, but after running with my friend's mom in Florida for the 5K and half during Dopey, I want to make sure I can do as many races as possible with her (she was going to register for the half and 5K... although now she might try to snag a GSC? We'll see what she decides). She's planning to come out my way for Tink next year too so I'm super excited . We'll BOTH get the pink C2C! Plus if I'm traveling that far to Florida from California, I might as well do them all, right? That was my thought process signing up for Dopey 2016 at least... I'm not always very smart...

Only thing better would be if my mom could come. But bad time for her to go since she's a high school teacher and she would want to be there at least a week (preferably more) and I usually ask her to take off at least three days around Tink weekend. Oh well. Maybe in 2018 if she retires or something by then .

Ack! No! Did you sign into your Active.com account first? It charged me $15.99 for my GSC registration!

Right?! I actually was sad at Tink this year I wasn't doing the 5K. Seriously considering it for 2017. Depends what friend's mom wants to do. Part of the most fun for me was running with her. Also that it was just so relaxed!

Dopey gave me a whole new appreciation for 5Ks, lol!

My DH registered for the GSC today. My girls and I want to watch him run on Main Street in MK and then again at Epcot near the finish. Does anyone know if the resorts run buses directly to MK before 5am or do you need to go to Epcot first and catch the monorail?
