They should do a Hawaii one where it leaves out of one of the islands, stops at all the little islands and then returns. That way it is shorter and you don't have to fly in and out the trip from 2 separate airports.

my first year as Gold! So we should hear at least a day early in October to book Jan/Feb of 2017? We are cruising the Fantasy Jan16, but I was thinking our best bet is to book asap, then reshop on board.

The U.S. has a weird maritime law that for a cruise ship to sail around the islands without a stop at a distant foreign port, the ship has to be registered in the U.S. (DCL is Bahamian registered) and built in the U.S. The DCL ships were built in Germany.
The last time DCL cruised to/from Hawaii was in 2012, so it's not something they do every year.
