2016 Trip Check in

Yea my son is excited to ride rides such as HTH which is freaking me out! I'm so suprised he's tall enough to ride that but not Indiana Jones. I will probably be holding onto him tighter than he will be holding onto me.
it will take ALOT to get me back on HTH!!! My DD LOVED it my son not so much...I was TERRIFIED!!!

Surprise Trip for the kids, staying at the Disneyland Hotel March 1-6 2016! This trip is extra special, because My Mom was going to attend, but got diagnosed, and passed from cancer in just two short months (She just passed Oct 28th). She bought the trip for us as a parting gift, and it was she who made me fall in love with Disneyland. I know she'll witness the kids' joy from where she is, and we'll feel her throughout our trip. <3
So terribly sorry for your loss, my grandpa is fighting his fight now, we have been so blessed with the time we have had with him, she will def be there in spirit with you and I am sure you will have the most magical trip!!

We'll be there Sept 6-14. 5 days in the park and sightseeing around the area; getting to some places we didn't get to last trip. Staying at Anaheim Majestic Garden. The Bunny meets the Mouse in 2016!

Going 4/19-4/26 for my birthday! :) 4 full days in the park. We will be staying off site, not sure where yet.

BRAND NEW to the forum! Just joined today!

Trying to plan our trip 6/28-7/2 (leave in the AM 7/2).

Can anyone guide me on where to begin on this forum? I feel so lost! There's so much information, I don't even know where to begin! I'm struggling the most with what hotel/resort to stay at. I feel like NONE of the hotels have good reviews. My biggest thing is cleanliness, because we will have a baby with us. Second is walking distance to the parks.

This is going to be a big family FIRST for us! I have only ever been to WDW when I was 2 years old (currently 31). The last time my husband went he was a kid. we are planning these dates as it's partly a gift to our 4 year old for her 5th birthday (June 17). We will also have our other daughter with, who will be 20 months at the time of the trip. Currently, I'm still looking up prices for everything, airfare, hotels, rental car (we plan on visiting friends and driving to Phoenix to visit family the second half of our trip), etc. Airfare is going to make/break this trip for us.

My DH, DD12, DD14, and I will be returning for our second trip to DLR in June from 6/8-6/17. Since we are DVC members we will be staying the whole time on Disney property using our points (staying at VGC) but we do plan on going on a few day trips to do some sightseeing and also check out the California coastline. We are very excited to be returning to DLR, and we are especially excited to be seeing the 60th Anniversary celebrations....we will be celebrating my DD12's birthday while we are there as well.

:welcome: We will be there the same time!! We stay longer because we drive from MO so we will be arriving on the 20th and leaving the 2nd!! You will get SO many opinions on hotel/motels we are going to try the new Homewood Suites because I got an awesome price and even after paying to park(which I hate) it was still cheaper than our other choice, it is a little further away but we will most likely be walking to the Toy story lot and catching the free tram from there :D Things I look for in a place to stay is free parking, free breakfast and clean and usually close to the park last trip we stayed at Park Vue Inn and it was AWESOME the rooms were recently redone and very clean the breakfast was wonderful and it is literally directly across the street from the entrance you will love Disneyland!!

Thanks for the hotel rec. Many of the reviews are old, or the newer ones don't state if the rooms are renovated, so great to know! I'm a huge planner, so I know I got this, but DL seems to be a beast of it's own.

Just booked our room at VGC for 9/12-9/18. This will be my DS's 1st trip to DL. This will be the final leg of our 18 day vacation out west to see some National Parks and other sites.

DH and I will be there 18Sep16 thru 01Oct16. We will be staying at ALO in Orange. Really looking forward to this trip as we were in WDW for our 2015 vaca... I missed my DL.

April 27-May 1, DH and I (mid-late 50s), staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I'm a huge Disney nut and we're both WDW vets. I've been to DL a few times for DD's dance events, DH has never been.

Plans for now are to book WoC and (maybe) Fantasmic packages. Looking forward to seeing Radiator Springs (we were in Seligman last year) and riding Indiana Jones and the other things not available at WDW.

We're going to a wedding in Las Vegas first then flying to California. The last time we were out west we had a DH trip-hiking in Zion and the Grand Canyon-so this time I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!
