2016 Free Dining Watch

I think I have lost my mind---My daughter is getting married at EPCOT on the 12 of Oct---we have an 8 night trip planned around the wedding. I am seriously considering adding enough days to start on the 1st just so I can get free dining!!!!! I need to get off this page!!!lol--Maybe the Disney God's will smile upon me and some mid October dates will pop up.

Or she could move her wedding day up?

You would think not but apparently I am being a momzilla---she can change everything else but mom doesn't get free dining!!!LOL. The really sad part is that I have an annual pass so I would have to purchase tickets that I would not use in order to get free dining. I really am sick---this free dining disease has got me by the throat. I don't think it is even a good deal for me this trip but I WANT IT!!!! Yes, I have lost my mind. I am going to search for my medication. Good luck everyone.

My husband laughs at me when I talk about our Disney trip because I haven't even booked it yet but I have ADRs and the entire trip planned for either the end of August or end of September!!!! Yes, I am one of those people who hoards dining reservations!

Umm no I'm not patient. I wonder how likely they would drop a visa offer on Thursday the same day as UK offer. Monday May be the day. And if it's not I can't even handle this.

Nope, never was though lol! My eyes are bugging out of my head from watching the updates in this thread all the time. FD is a deal to how we vacation so much that we were able to go to Disney in Fall 2014 (6 months earlier than originally planned-Thank-you Black!). Still hoping against hope that somehow an October date will come up but if not I'm having fun watching everyone else.

I'm a quiet lurker who rarely posts, but wanted to say a huge thank you to Black, Smitch and Dirty Steve (and anyone else I missed-the eyes AND the mind are getting loopy haha) for all of your help and info. I know it's all to be taken with a grain of salt bc it's not official until it's official but it's such a huge help to have a contigency plan ready. You are all worth your weight in gold!

While im hoping October dates open I am thinking that if I go in September I will 60 days closer to being at Disney!

That is a great question. Based on time differentials would a 7am est DV release have a profound impact on the UK release?

I've thought the same thing - I have a deposit down on October dates for CSR because I thought those were my best odds - now I'm trying to come up with plan B and that exact thought about the date being closer came up - however if the rumored dates end up being true I will probably switch to November but psychologically it's a totally different trip - because getting excited for Christmas vs Halloween - but then I remind myself 2 nod trip this year so I'll feel appreciative to be going at all!

I get to bow out of this guys! I got a great deal through another TA and booked it and am cancelling my current reservation. It's just as good as the FD offer would be! So I'll be watching just cause this is exciting but I don't have to worry now

If you can PM me with what you feel comfortable sharing (details and TA), my family and I would really appreciate any information. Sounds like that would be right in our budget.

I am booked at CBR and I am keeping it until I see what happens. I have never been during Halloween and was really excited for that. Our September is pretty flexible and none of the nov/dec dates work for us. Last time we were there free dining wasn't as limited and I never had to worry about it like this time. I will be happy no matter what happens!

Oh I understand! It either we are all sharing food or we are getting to do the fun dining and I really really want that! I think I am just trying to prepare myself if I don't get it.
