I noticed this info showing up recently on the website if you go price a package or act like you are booking. A new feature Disney has added to the site I believe. It doesn't give any date info though, just shows number of times booked at that resort.

Interesting, I never noticed that before. I normally stop after adjusting tickets to PH's.

Well, look what I found in my spam folder - another Disney Destinations invitation. I can't tell if this is actually a "deal", as we are not looking to book a single room for all of our crew - but when I explore the link in the email it takes me to prices for AoA Suites and CS suites that are the same price as I have been exploring. I'll have to work out the prices with tickets included and see if it is actually a savings.

But with this flurry of enticements going around all of a sudden, it tells me that:
1. There are plenty of rooms they are still trying to fill, at least in December, and
2. There might be something better coming out and they want us to book a poorer package now. Although most of us on this board will keep searching until we get the very best deal we can find, there are many folks in the world who would take Disney's offer and think they got a great deal!

I think after much debate our room preferences in order, are;

Little Mermaid room at Art of Animation, (if by dumb luck it's offered, but not expecting it)
Pop Century, any
Coronado Springs (standard)
Caribbean Beach (standard)
Port Orleans (standard)
All Star Music or Sports (standard)
All Star Movies (standard)
All Stars (preferred)
Any moderate resort room that isn't standard

Our dates are also pretty flexible as we could travel any time in Sep, Oct, Nov, or Dec, minus the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas

Are these in order of your favorite choice on down? Now that we're 5, in one room, our choice is made for us, but before that I was seriously considering a value and upgrading the dining plan.

I got a room with dining and 6 day tickets for the same price as it would be with free dining at Caribbean
:o

I noticed that as well. For those that asked yes it was a room discount I got
So is the room free if you buy tickets and dining?? That would be awesome!!!!

I get to bow out of this guys! I got a great deal through another TA and booked it and am cancelling my current reservation. It's just as good as the FD offer would be! So I'll be watching just cause this is exciting but I don't have to worry now :)

Please PM me the details and the TA you worked with. Thanks

Hey 1sttimedisneymama, can you PM me the info/TA? I'm kind of new to this whole thing and I'm not sure what the rules are for the boards etc., but I am trying to book a late October trip for 4 adults and, as of the current rumour, there are no late October FD dates so we are looking for alternates. Thanks!! :)

Do Disney destinations emails stop after a period of time? I realized I haven't gotten one in a long time, my last trip was in 2013.

I've definitely been struggling between my FD BB and that quote from that TA company that everyone talks about. It's about $220 more to go from Sports with upgraded FD to the Poly
It's probably not even available anymore though.

I get that we can't "name" the TA company on the boards...but any hints you could give about how I could go about finding it? :)

I was getting them all the time then after February 2013 I have not gotten a single one. But my sister started getting them in 2013 and we vacation together so got it covered.
