2016 Free Dining Watch

This is our list if we can't get a standard at CBR..
1. Any standard room at any moderate resort
2. Any preferred or water view room at any moderate resort
3. Standard room at a value paying to upgrade dining (preferably Pop)
4. Preferred room at a value paying to upgrade dining (Preferably Pop)

We are in this exact same boat! The only thing I keep going back forth on is whether we would switch our priority of #1 & #2; we have 6 kids under age 5 going, and the pool/splash pad at CBR keeps drawing us back to it. However, we are already at the top end of our budget with CBR/moderates in general, so having to get a water view or preferred there vs the cost is really making us go back & forth!

I have never been during FD and def expect when I am there for the first time at the F&W Marathon weekend for it to be blacked out. So if they did offer it during my stay (3-6) it literally would just be icing on the cake

Your other options could be a room at POR (if its included), 2 rooms at a value or a suite at Music or AoA.

For instance, rumors are 11-15 for free dining, if we are checking in on 11-11, but not checking out until 11-19, does that mean we get free dining? Thanks everyone!

I just called to make a payment on my package and the cm said i had a pin code offer attached to my name i was so excited till he said oh im sorry its for august you r going in sept. i was so bummed i said im waiting for free dining an he laughed and said they arent released until the 23rd hmm interesting

No it's based solely on your check in date. You could possibly to a split stay if you're staying the adequate number of nights starting at the free dining date.

I would be surprised with the 11/21 date. Free dining has not been extended to the Saturday before Thanksgiving in years (if at all). Usually you have to check in the Thursday before.

The PINS (now UOC) "usually" have more dates and less excluded resorts. In 2013 POFQ was excluded from FD for the GP but my sister got an FD PIN that did include POFQ; we used it to book rooms for her family and mine.

We were able to book POFQ in the past with a PIN when it was excluded in the public deal.

Shame that you have never been able to use one that you have received. We have never received one before so at least you get them.

I've got fall FD pins in 2013 (right after we returned from a trip) and then in 2015 when we weren't going! The year we go with FD in 2014 and no PIN came! LOL it's like they know to send them when I can't use them.

I need the release date to be closer to the end of the month. You know how I posted we weren't going until 2017? Well last night turned into tripalooza when dh found out FD was during F&W again. Now he's all "oh maybe we can do a shorter stay and go this year"! Add in my oldest going to UCA for HS Nationals next year, our big trip in June, and then the F&W 2017 trip he wanted...omg I don't even know how I will pay for all those! LOL

If we go this year our list is:
1) POR or POFQ (whichever is included)
2) CSR
3) POP

Deluxe is most definitely out which is what we stayed last year. We would be happy with any of the 3 listed except having to pay the difference between QS and DDP.

Last November (2015) dates were Sunday 11/8 through Thursday 11/19. Last year Veteran's Day on the 11th as always and Thanksgiving on the 26th. Just FYI.

yes you are right about that.... But i also notice FD was not giving durning Jersey Week. Which would have also been good for us due to my girls going to school in Jersey.
