Still in queue 1:12, not feeling confident in the change to our existing POR with nothing online... hoping for at least a room discount.

Thank-you so much Black for keeping us informed last night! After you told us POR was not included in FD for dates after Oct.1 , I was able to get some sleep.:) I priced out a reservation at POR with a 20% discount for our dates in fall and it works out to be around the same as our POR standard room Package we booked last November before price increases. It is much appreciated that you spent so much time helping everyone on this thread! Thanks go out to Dirty Steve for all of his help as well!!:thanks:

Will be cancelling a Standard Room at POP century for Sept. 3rd - Sept. 17th. It won't let me cancel I online so I have to call. I have not been able to get through yet. I will post again right before I cancel it, in case anyone needs this reservation.

I called this number, (407)939-4357 and had a 2 minute wait. Spoke with Owen and he was super nice! Good luck everyone!!
Thank you--I used this number and got right through! Before this I kept getting the ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSY message, so thanks= you!

It's not just about the savings. Do they not understand how magical it is on vacation to not look at prices when ordering or not budgeting for character meals! Maybe their millionaires!!! Hahahaha Less guests taking it from us who appreciate it!! :earboy2: I'm still happy dancing!!
Those folks that cry scam always frustrate me too...perhaps for them it's not the best deal but everybody's family size, room preference, and eating habits differ. The simple math I always kind of think is 30% off of a $250 room is $75...not many families can eat for $75 per day at Disney! Now the Park Hopper thing complicates that example a little bit but still for many people Free Dining beats all other deals!

I've got another question. We were hoping to get Pop from Nov. 16-22 for us and Nov. 16-20 for our inlaws. Unfortunately, weren't able to so I managed to get Coronado Springs instead that ended up being only about $150 more for us, but for my in-laws all I could find was a king bed room instead of a standard. I'm wondering how long it normally takes for things to shake out so that some of the rooms that people have booked and will cancel, will start to come available?

This is my first time ever getting free dining and it's kinda exciting! I remember seeing these types of threads in the past and thinking 'these people are crazy! I don't get it!'.. But I get it now!

This offer saved us a good bit money and we always use the dining plan anyways. I woke up at 5:30 am to start trying and kept getting error messages, it just wouldn't work. I called in right at 7 and had a 23 minute wait but during that my boyfriend woke up. He saw I didn't have it yet so he got online to try and he got it right away, first try.

We're staying at Pop in December and now I have my free dining but I can't make ADRs yet!

Hard to say on that...sometimes more rooms open up later and other times they never do. I'd make sure you're happy with (or at least can accept) what you have now in case they don't come available.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a situation where we already bought 5 day tickets pre-2016 increased prices from UT, and now we have another set of 5 day tickets as part of FD package. If I return them to UT, I have pay about $90 'return fee', which I'd prefer to avoid..any suggestions? Thanks!

Anyone else having a child's ticket (3-9 years) show as a "10 and older ticket" in MDE? I know MDE always has wonky stuff, but curious if this is happening for anyone else. My reservation confirmation email shows the correct information.
YES!!! My 8y.o. Is showing up as "10 and older". I'm not too worried about it though. Will call in a few days and make sure I wasn't overcharged.

On the other hand. If it stays as 10yrs+, maybe she'll be able to order from adult menu at TS meals. (She's only 8 but already has acquired a taste for expensive food)

I have been trying for almost three hours and can't get through. I ended up booking a new Reservation online but am nervous that my existing dining reservations won't carry over. Anyone ever done that?
ADRs are linked to your MDE account, not your resort reservation, you should be fine.

I think your options are
1) Save the UC 5 day tix for another trip
2) Return the UC 5 day tix and eat the $90
3) Downgrade your tix in the Free Dining package to 2 Day tix and save those for another trip (which would save a little cash now but could cause frustrations later)
