2016 Free Dining Watch ~ Part 2

Usually the curveball is moving the release date. Does anyone remember a couple years back? They moved it forward by one day, but forgot to tell Chase Visa, who was handing out codes. That was a crazy day.

Oh yes and how some were lucky to get an even earlier DV booking and others not so much.

Alright, what are you all guessing for release time? Midnight? 2am? 4am? Or not until 6am? I'm hoping for midnight to get it all over and done with, but I think the smart money will be on the 4 or 6am release (and subsequent crash) judging by past years.

Can I modify my existing All Star Movies reservation online to a different resort AND free dining? It seems like there are two different modifications to make (either resort or special offer)? Since ASM isn't included, I'm worried that I won't be able to modify it online. But I suppose I could just make a new booking, right?

We have gone this week for many many years.....Crowds are traditionally low. But id depends on what you know of crowds at WDW. Crowds during Fall and early Winter can never rival summer or spring break. It just no contest.

That being said, most ride wait times are 15 minutes or less, during rush times, 30 minutes. ADR's are always required at WDW, restaurants will be the most problematic.

This yeah we moved our dated back a week, because of the 3 things converging that week. Each by themselves is not a huge crowds bump overall. But together it could lead to higher than medium crowd levels.

Novemember 1-14
Jersey Week
Veteran's Day weekend
F&W last week+ Marathon.

My predictions would be on a scale for 1-10 for that week, 6-7 maybe as high as 8. depnding on the park.

Even at this level is way better than summer or spring break, simple due to weather and Xmas Decor!!!!!!

We've done Music once, Art (Mermaid rooms, 3 days after they opened) and Pop 5 times. Value all the a

My guess would be new booking. The change button may work, but when I have been playing with it, the change resort room, sometimes crashes.

Same! Sports for a change, since we did pop last year. But I'd prefer pop anyway since I loved it. Maybe I'll tell my husband it wasn't available ::muahahahah::

If the rumored "up to 30%" is accurate, then they should shake out similar to that. Generally it goes 30, 25, 20, 15. Like I said in the earlier post, that's just a good interpretation of how it could go. Obviously some of those may be in different categories, and campsites may or may not be included. Consider that post a good researched-based interpretation of how things have typically laid out for room discounts.

Now if you're looking for what was rumored, it was "up to Nov 5", and "Up to 30%".

So Black, why the abrupt ending of RO in early November? Seem like I remember them going into at least Mid November last few years. Have past crowd levels taken the best (secret) month of the year to visit and made it too popular?

Wow, I have been away all weekend, and I have a lot of catching up to do. I am seriously hoping for a midnight release this year! Either way, I will enjoy being in good Disney obsessed company. We are as thick as thieves at this point . May our wait be short, and the server stay up until we are all booked.

getting the FP+ for the new Frozen ride is my biggest concern, 3 of the kids in our family are obsessed with Frozen; I have to make it happen.

We need to start a new thread once everyone is booked tomorrow and we can all obsess over Frozen FP next!! We're in the same boat here. Can you imagine how long standby for TT and soarin will be

Last year's room off sale which was released same day as free dining was only until Oct 3rd.
