2016 Flower and Garden

I know the dates for this are not out, but that in years past it has started in early March. My question is this. I have found it much harder to book any rooms 11 months or 7 months this last year. We own at BWV and had to wait list for this Oct at 9 a.m. 11 months out, every two bedroom BW view was taken. (we got the Res. a few days later when who ever was walking passed my dates.)

So the question is, and know it is an oft asked one, do I book at 11 months at BWV, even though we really want BLT, and switch at 7 months over there, or just take my chances at 7 months?

We would be booking 2 bedroom lake or park view for around the 8th of March for 5 nights.

I guess it depends on whether you only want to go if you get BLT. If you want to go regardless of where you stay, I would book at 11 months then try to change.

We would really like to stay at BLT, but want a room regardless. I'm thinking BWV will be more crowded for Flower and Garden, so BLT might be easy at 7 months.

You could find a BLT owner, rent and reserve that way at 11 months. Take your points and rent them out to make up the difference. BWV will be a very popular resort for that time of year. You should have no problems renting.

March isn't terrible to book and you'll likely get BLT LV but the safest way is to book BWV at 11 months. Now if other resorts such as AKV, SSR or OKW are an option if you didn't get BLT then I think you'd be ok waiting until 7 months.

The resorts being rehabed may be short available inventory.

As more people buy a DVC interest, the competition continues to increase, Aulani, AKV, VGF, and Poly, owners may be trying to book the same room as you at 7 months.
