2016 Disneyland Paris Half Marathon

I am looking for a package for Inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend this September... 1 runner, family of 4 accomidations. anyone know where to go for that. thank you

First trip in 12 years without kids (unless Grandad says no to babysitting the toddler)! We had our honeymoon in Paris in September 20 years ago. Signed up to do the 1/2 by myself. Husband said "No flippin way". Any Toronto peeps doing the race? Just got back from my first running room run. 3 k in 20 minutes. Almost died, came in last but at least I made it! :)

I just received my invitation to complete my online registration! :D
Now if only I could remember my username and password! Ran 11 K this week, 1st week of running room done!

Congrats on completing your runs.
Got my invite too. Shame that it is the responsibility of the runner to prove that they are doing the Castle to Chateau challenge. Don't remember having to do anything for Coast to Coast last year.

Does anyone know what they mean by certificate exactly? Trying to finish my registration for the half.

Hi StarGirl, You would have recieved a message from Realbuzz Registrations when you registered and the info is in there but here it is:

Medical Certificate: Providing this document is mandatory for the runners doing the half marathon only, not the ones running the 5k. This document must be filled by your doctor in French (English translated) and delivered less than one year before the race day. You can download a template at http://run.disneylandparis.com/sites/default/files/files/certificat-medical-us.pdf. If you are entitled to FFA, FFTRI, FSGT athletics, FSFC athletics, UFOLEP athletics or any other French sports federation, then your sporting license is ok.
You will be able to upload your medical certificate on your runner form. It will be subject to validation by the organization team.

I was actually talking about the race certificate my bad should have clarified. Wanted to make sure I was uploading the right file.

Thanks though for the links on the medical certificate.

We got ours, too

Now if only I could remember my username and password!

My emails had user names and passwords in them, which had nothing to do with the credentials with which I registered. They were just random strings of letters and numbers.

I'm not sure either. I assume they're referring to the personalized finisher certificate on the results section of the runDisney site. Have you gotten a definitive answer?

Yes, it is the personalized finishers certificate you get from the results section of the RunDisney website - just save the .pdf and upload it for your Paris registration. Used my Stars Wars 2016 Half certificate and, after submitting everything, I received a confirmation email 48 hours later - see below.

Greetings,

Congratulations! You are now registered for the "Inaugural Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon Weekend": Disneyland® Paris Half Marathon and Disneyland® Paris 5K .

As a reminder, you will receive your runner number by email, 30 days prior to the event.
Then, 15 days before the event, you will receive an email with your official document to provide at the expo, in order to retrieve your g'EAR bag.

If you have any questions about your registration, please contact us at http://run.disneylandparis.com/)

Thank you for registering and we look forward to your participation.

Just got the email to say that my medical certificate has been verified and accepted.
Just need the race certificate from the Dark Side Half now to go for Castle to Chateau

1st Half had to be a run disney event, had to wait till paris as the US is never on time for us coming from Scotland plus going that far needs to be for vacation only.
Staying at Hotel New York for the 5 nights plus going to the pre event & buffalo Bills, Cant wait.

I attempted to upload my medical certificate yesterday and received an error. After emailing them, they asked that I submit the file directly to them and they would take care of it. Hopefully it all gets worked out soon.

Oh, and its six months until the festivities start.:yay::dogdance:

Mine took a couple of tries to show up as attached too.

Now to complete the Star Wars Half and upload that certificate .... Then I'm completely registered ... I think

I'm trying to figure out a way to throw together a trip for a Disneyland race, because I want Castle to Chateau and Coast to Coast. I've had Coast to Coast for the past 5 years and hate to have the streak end, almost as much as I would hate to lose my "perfect" status with Wine & Dine
