2016 Dining Plan

Does anyone know when 2016 dining plan pricing comes out?

Package pricing should be out this summer sometime.

I think last year there was an unexpected increase in Feb. so you really never know. It shouldn't be much different than this year.

Thanks. I booked a room on rented points and can make ADRs in August. I'm assuming I can still make ADRs at this time and book the dining plan later?

Yes most point rental companies require you to add the Dining plan with in 60 days of arrival. Disney requires 3 days before arrival. You can book reservations with or without the plan. However if any of your options are prepaid like Cinderella's Royal Table, you will have to go ahead and pay and get a refund on the back end.

For DVC, Disney allows adding the dining plan up to 48 hours before arrival. For normal Disney reservations, it's 72 hours. Since OP is renting points, 48 hours applies.

Be aware that if the rumored changes do actually happen, they could increase the price at any time to cover some of the changes they're making. If you want to lock in the current price, you need to do it soon. If memory serves, that Feb increase in 2014 was the last time there was an increase, so we're due for one anyway.

It does not apply the same way unless you rent directly through an individual who is willing to do it up until the 48 hour mark . Most rental companies like David's Vacation Club rentals, the DVC Rental Store, etc. require that you add the dining plan no less than 60 days. They have to have time to contact the owner and setup the transaction. Renters cannot make changes to their reservations directly through Disney.

David's website says 30 days. Where are you getting 60 days?
