I just read on another thread about some rides going down one at a time after summer for refurbishment.
Is there somewhere I can find this schedule?
We were planning to go first full week of October, but if there are must-ride rides down, IDK, I may have to rethink our plan.

Other option is first week of June. But with the 60th anniversary, I'm thinking it may a little crazy no?

Disneyland usually announces refurbs a few weeks out. Even at 30-45 days they have been known to change the schedule. You can check past years' refurb lists to see if your must-rides usually go down, but with the 60th, next year's schedule could be different. Going in June you will have less rides down (or scheduled to be down), and a full weekday entertainment schedule, but yes, that will be the start of summer and the start of the 60th celebration, so crowds will be higher. (Not that October crowds aren't becoming more sizable these days as well.)

I had read that, about Oct crowds. DD has one week off of school in October, usually the first full week. We were thinking to go then instead of leaving on her last day of school for the summer (which is usually May 31st or whatever that Friday is) We thought the crowds would be less in Oct but now I'm not sure it's worth it. It looks like more private parties are booked during that time, so the park could be closed early.

I'd go with the private parties of October, to the Grad Nights you'll have to deal with in May and June. But that's just me.
