Morning friends! Hey, for those of you that didn't get a Palo ressie, I see one brunch and one dinner time available this morning. Brunch was for the last day at sea and dinner was for the first sea day, which is formal night. Grab them if you can!

I was just shifting a spa appointment and thought I would check out what was out there for dining for anyone that didn't get a reservation...Good luck!

Just looked. They are not there anymore. Only thing showing is a Palo on Ketchikan night at 6pm (when we already have reservations… :-( )

wow - at first I thought these were our exact same Palo reservations and had a bit of a panic. But our dinner is on the first night, not the first sea day.
too funny.

I'm probably only half prepared at this point. I keep thinking I need a winter coat, and then talk myself out of it. We have an LLBean and REI store in our area. We're going to check a few things out tomorrow. JQ needs footwear.

And congrats to those who have completed their FE's. I've got a little more work to do in that area.

Hello all. I have a quick question for you Platinum CC members. This will be DW's first cruise as a Platinum CC member, however, DD and I are still only Gold. My question is that I know that as one of the Platinum perks, a meal at Palo is included, but is that for the 2 of us in the stateroom, or just the Platinum member?

Well shoot! This actually happened to DH and I...ironically on the repo cruise before the first Alaska cruise! But that was 4 years ago, so I can't recall. I've asked DH, I'll post again when he answers. I think we did get the Platinum bennefits for both of us at Palo even though he was still gold. But I'll let you know for sure soon.

Okay, anyone else having full blown WORK panic at this point? I have SO much to finish before next Thursday...AAAAaaaaaa!!

I don't work outside the home, so I'm good. My husband, on the other hand, hasn't done ONE SINGLE THING toward getting ready and is off today and still hasn't done anything yet!! After today he'll have two more days off before we leave. He's stressing me out just thinking about it! Oh well, at least I know I'll have clothes to wear every day.

The meal is free for you both. I was Platinum before DH was, so we were in that situation. Now we both are Platinum.

So, I thought in the past you could purchase an internet package ahead of time? When I finally found the information, it looks like you have to purchse it onboard? Also, I recall some sort of conversation way back when about a discounted or intro amount of service that had to be activated the first day or something? Can someone refresh me? Thanks.

As soon as you board, you will get a Navigator, and the information is there. On one cruise, the free amount lasted the whole cruise for me, but on a cruise in January the free amount lasted barely a day. I have learned to go to the Internet person, and let him/her shut off whatever settings caused me to go through the usage.

It looks like that list has no allergies stated and all celebrations posted were noted. As far as first and last names, you'd have to send them a message asking for that since it's strictly up to them. It's a small group so it shouldn't be too difficult.

I called about our movies and was given the following list:

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Cinderella
Into the Woods
Monkey Kingdom
McFarland, USA
Strange Magic
Big Hero 6
Frozen
Guardians of the Galaxy
Finding Nemo 3D

No mention of Tomorrowland, but I honestly can't see any way that it won't be shown. It's possible it's not on the list because it hasn't premiered yet in theaters.

Ok, ok, I know I'm a dork...but I'm SO excited! We are down to a single digit countdown now because we fly up to Vancouver on Friday, 5/22...YAY!!!

I have no idea if that list is on the PC cruise. I asked her for ours specifically, so who knows. I figured ours would be longer with 7 nights to fill. Some of those are probably daytime only movies.

I have switched from totally excited planning, to just plain old panic now. Research and plan mode is over, it's now time to pack and assume I'm forgetting something! I don't know how I could forget anything with all the lists I've made though, so hopefully there will be no freaking out as we drive to the airport!

Has anyone done this tour on the Wonder before? It's listed on the first sea day from past Navigators.



Edit to add: I'm thinking I may take the tour since my husband will be working the entire day on both sea days. If anyone feels like going, I'll likely be there. Looks kind of neat.
