Anyone else waiting to see if they will be released in early January? We used them a couple times and are hoping they are available again for our spring break trip in March. If not, we'll do the FL Seasonal Weekday pass.

Yessss!!!! I am totally hoping for this. I have been googling about it for weeks to make sure I do not miss the announcement. We also plan to do the Season if they opt out of the regular deals for residents that they normally release.

I think last year they came out with them on January 5th so I'm going to start stalking the website around then :).

For a limited time, Florida Residents can enjoy 3 days for $139 per person, plus tax, at a Walt Disney World Theme Park and a 4th day for just $20 more, plus tax, with a Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket.
Visit one theme park per day, valid at any of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks from January 3 through June 5, 2015. Excludes the following blockout dates at Magic Kingdom park only: March 30 to April 9, 2015.

The Discover Disney Ticket can be used on non-consecutive days—so you can come for a weekend or spread out the fun! Explore ticket types and prices below.

Is this not it? I noticed it last night somehow, but I'm not sure if it's the deal mentioned here. (We have resident APs)

DH and I were just talking about this today. It's still a good deal, and MK isn't blocked out Memorial Day weekend like last year. Looks like our SWW trip is on!

I'm new to FL (just moved here last year)... do they do this in the fall as well?

They dont do it in the fall. The special 3day pass usually is good for Jan - June each year then expires.

If you want a fall ticket you might consider the Fla Res Seasonal Pass.
The only blocked dates are usually around Easter, June, July and the last week of Dec and First week of January.

This series of posts has perfect timing for me. I was just about to purchase some tickets for my parents who will be joining us on our February trip. I can certainly wait until after the 3rd to buy their tickets. Thanks for posting the link!

My dad lives down in FL, and I was told that he could purchase a ticket for my daughter (his granddaughter). Does anyone know if this is true? I didnt know a FL resident could purchase tickets for anyone else in the family unless they were also a resident. Can anyone help me out with this before I purchase our tickets? Thanks!

Bought ours today with PH. The website was bogged down and wouldn't even load for a while, but they fixed it and everything was smooth this afternoon. Can't wait!

I am about to buy these for my dad and his girlfriend. Can we add park hopper later if they decide to? I don't want to make that decision yet. This is his first trip so I don't want to overwhelm him

I'm pretty sure you can do that when you get there if you just want to buy base tickets for now.

Florida residents can buy for anyone under the age of 18 (i.e. grandkids) Everyone 18 or over has to have a valid Fl proof of residency.

Does anyone know if these tickets are upgradeable to weekday select passes if I use it first over spring break?

My wife and I love these FL passes every Spring. It's just enough WDW for us in the Spring since we always go on a summer trip out of the country since she is a teacher. We did 4 days with park hopper. I remember when it was $99 I think 5 years ago in 2010. Regardless of the prince increase, it's still a deal.

They are..you have to upgrade within the first 14 days of use. If going strictly on weekdays why not just buy the weekday pass on the payment plan. Then you get park hopping from day 1.

A few years back the Florida 3 day pass didn't have blackout dates like now. I used during blackout and went to upgrade during blackout date to a seasonal pass (has blackout dates) and was told I couldn't. Thankfully next day was non blackout and I had no troubles upgrading it then. But again that was several years ago, Disney loves closing loopholes.
