I would do monorail to cr (8-12 mins) then walk to boat launch. Depending on wait, 5-20 most likely and then 10 min ride. 45 minutes-ish. Could be an hour but really shouldn't be more than that unless you get distracted in cr concourse

Timing is everything: minumum 20 minutes; average 30-45 minutes. And, of course, it could be longer.

Hello all! I had to share that we are booked for our first stay at GF Oct 1-5. We booked a garden view with free dinning. I am so excited! Any recommendations for our request? We would like a view of the lagoon if possible and we don't mind walking. Thanks for all of the great information this thread provides!

If you get a chance try again today. I was booking our FP's for SWW and there were 7DMT FP's available on the 28th just a few minutes ago. Keep checking.

About 45 minutes to an hour...

We follow the same route..right down the monorail ramp to the dock..and I agree..timing is everything!

WELCOME!! and congratulations on booking your first GF stay...I bet it wont be your last!! There is a wealth of info on the beginning of this thread...including a map which will give you a lay of the land so to speak...

GV rooms at the GF will give you either a courtyard pool view..which is quite lovely.. a marina view.. or the back of Sago which is a woodland view...there are some partial ( very partial..lol..) lagon view roms in Boca Chica...these basically face a garden area..and across towards the boat dock...mariamouse had posted a bit more of the views from BC a few pages back....

If you would enjoy a marina view...then I would request Conch Key...it is close to the courtyard pool..the boat dock..and the area furthest out in this building would also have a monorail view....Really all of the views are so pretty..you cant go wrong..and everything on the grounds is in close proximity to each other...

Yes, a few pics, info on the parasol parade would be nice. I didn't realize it existed until I stumbled upon it in a website on the GF. I plan on watching it with our girls when we go in October.

Welcome to the GF thread . Congrats on booking your first GF stay. The GF is a great resort, you're going to love it .

Hi! So happy to find this thread! I just booked TPV for November
Question- last year we stayed at Poly TPV club level, we had a ground floor room and it was amazing! Our patio opened up to a huge lawn space where the kids could play and we were just a few hundred feet from the beach. the fireworks every night were incredible. Is there a building at GF that has similar room types? A room on ground floor that we can walk out into a grassy area? thanks!

From what I recall last year, it is around 9:15. You start to hear the music around 9 p.m. and then it makes it way to the GF after that.

Just over reading on the Theme Parks forum and seeing posts about a 4th FPP. I was not aware we could get 4, nor did I see that offered when I was on MDE choosing them. Can somebody here (the friendly forum ) enlighten me??

Good morning grannyminnie! You are able to get a 4th after you've used the first 3. Does anyone else know if you can get the 4th through your phone app or if it has to be at the kiosk? I thought I read it had to be at a kiosk.
