2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

We are getting to make a relatively last minute trip during food and wine and was wondering if there is a checklist available to help with trying different foods. I've seen a list for trying different alcohol "around the world" and was curious if a list for foods existed?

At the Festival, at every food booth, there should be a small 'free' booklet that has all the festival foods listed. Beside the description of each food/beverage there is a little box where you can check off those that you have sampled. It is called a Passport.

Excellent! Thanks!

Sorry if this has been answered already - does anyone know what time the marketplaces stop serving? Thanks! :tinker:

Hello , I am looking for a weather report. Heading down Wednesday.

go to weather.com and type in Orlando or Kissimmee, or lake Buena Vista. That should cover you for Disney World.

There is a you tube video of the all ears person giving a walk thru of the festival center check that out. Is appears to just say taste your way around the world in a cream background with blue letters and a trim around it. Not like the color ones they used to have in years past. Hope this helps.
Leaving next week for 6 days !!!!:cool1:

Thank you! Although I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed with this year's logo. :( We have an empty spot on our wall waiting for this year's framed print to go with last year's and the one from a couple or 3 years ago.

By far my absolute favourite at the festival. :) Oh don't get me wrong the food is great but you can't go wrong with taking a sip of drinkable chocolate then a sip of sparkling red wine. :)

is someone there who can measure the table in the Premium area? We just decided to go and I would like to make table clothes. :rotfl:

Hoping someone can help me which a menu item. It's the Griddled "Yard Bird," Braised Greens and House-made Habanero Sauce at Farm Fresh. Is the sauce basted on the chicken, in the greens, or on top? Can it be left off? Thanks!

I'm so excited I'm finally here! It was so rainy tonight, I just went to the Festival Center since a lot of the booths were closed due to rain. :( The CM there tried to convince me to go see Hanson but I was so tired from the drive. Lol. I'll be back tomorrow morning awaiting the 11:00 kickoff!

Praying for NO rain!

You should've come. We all got completely soaked but Hanson is worth it! :)

The sauce is on the side (they actually asked us if we wanted it or not). I had them just put a little on the side for the one our kids were going to share.

It is on the side and can be left off Personally I didn't like the spice. However that meant the chicken was completely tasteless piece of meat. This was the biggest mess of the festival so far for me.

Had to cancel 2 culinary demonstrations, 1 seat each. So they are back in the 'pool' if someone wants to book them.

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. I can't have the sauce so I wanted to be sure that I could still get the dish in general. There has already been a few things I have had to cross off due to ingredients (like the fisherman's pie due to it having tomato in the sauce) and I didn't want to have to skip another. There will still be quite a few I can try plus I have the normal WS offerings as well.

Were you able to get a refund? I didn't book anything because there was a good chance we would have to cancel our F&W trip (and it turns out we did). At the same time, I really wanted to book a couple of things I thought would sell out just in case we did go but didn't want to risk losing the money.
