Kinda off the subject, but twice last weekend we saw a bus to Epcot pick up at YC.. It was so odd because people got off, but nobody got on. I assume they didn't know there was a bus

Can somebody pls let me know, if you are there, the cost of lunchables and if they have the pizza kind, at BCM? :goodvibes
Trying to decide whether to place a GG order or just fork out the extra to get stuff at BCM. Thanks!

According to an order form I have for items at Beach Club Marketplace for DVC members, they have the following items:

Lunchables Pepperoni Pizza $2.95
Lunchables Nachos $2.95
Lunchables Deluxe Turkey and Chicken OR Turkey and Ham $4.95

Note- this form is from September 2013 so I don't know if the selection or price has changed since then

Maybe someone who is there now or soon can check.

ETA: Here is a photo I have from August 2014

I can zoom in on the picture and see that they did offer all of the Lunchables I listed above, but there is no price appearing in the picture

:thumbsup2

Thank you!! In looking at GG prices, lunchables are about the same price. The other items I looked at thru GG seem the same as resort pricing too. Think we will just bring down some dry goods and purchase the cold goods we need in the BCM. :goodvibes

Teena,

Sorry, totally off topic question...... (I was hoping to catch you on this thread.)

I thought I had read awhile ago where you mentioned going to Vero Beach. We have a trip coming up to the Disney Vero Beach Resort. Can you recommend casual seafood restaurants and anything to do in the area?

You need a car to get anywhere there. We always have dinner at the Ocean Grill. Absolutely best crab cakes and crab gratin I've ever had!! There is also a place around the corner from the Ocean Grill ... in a motel ... I think it's called Bob's. Really good food ...they are known for their burgers.

Teena,
Just wondering if you had a chance to check at CMC about the cod nuggets? If they are in fact now on rotating schedule instead of the clam strips. We LOVE the cod nuggets but can only go on Friday night of our upcoming trip.

THANKS!

I'm so sorry ... I was swamped yesterday and didn't get a chance to walk over and ask anybody.

Last I heard the cod nuggets were only Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

There was a thread on the restaurant board that listed Cape May's phone number as 407-934-3833. I don't know if that is a good number or not, but it might be worth a try.

Someone was at the Beach Club this past weekend and I asked her to check for me. She asked at the restaurant and they said they were on the menu every night.

Bring a sweater/sweatshirt or fleece jacket. Something light & warm. It was 45 degrees this morning in Orlando. And then 80's tomorrow. The weather fluctuates so much you have to pack for all seasons. :) I usually bring tshirts & pants/leggings for the day, and my fleece north face jacket, a hoodie & sweatpants for the early mornings and nights. And a couple of shorts and tanks in case there's a heat wave. There have been nights where I needed my sweats over the leggings and the hoodie under the fleece. And others where you don't need anything.

Leaving in two days and have repacked 3 times already. Weather for the weekend looks like highs barely at 70 and lows in the 50s. I guess the Xmas party will feel a lot like the season. I'll still take it since it's a high of 50s here in the midwest. Glad the pools are heated!!!

I haven't seen many comments about this so excuse me if it's been discussed, but is it worth it to get the kitchen sink at B&C or go for the No Way Jose? we will have 5 adults and 1 child (4) with us.

I just want to warn you...50's in the park feels colder for some reason.

People from up north laugh at me, but i told a Buffalo NY bride this and she laughed at me till she got here and couldn't believe how cold 40 was here.

Just a PSA

The cod nuggets???!!! Really??? That makes my day!! I certainly hope so b/c others have said they aren't. I know it sounds silly but my DD and I LOVE them! Me more so than the crab legs.

I remember several months ago a plan to start "staging" transports from Blizzard Beach at the front of Epcot in the afternoons (due to the construction at DTD, I think). They were supposed to bus everyone to Epcot & then you catch a bus back to your resort from there. This was going to mean new bus routes from the front of Epcot to the Epcot resorts. Maybe this is what you saw? I don't think they were promoting it as a way to get to Epcot, but just to get back from BB.

Oh yes, we'll have a car. We are driving up from Boca Raton. I think Ocean Grill was the one I heard you mention before. We are gonna check it out! Thanks for getting back to me.

We'll be at WDW for Thanksgiving (arriving Tuesday before and leaving Saturday after). Will you be there then? I'm hoping the BC decorations will be up.

That's what it was and it was Typhoon Lagoon, not BB. It was because of the construction going on at Downtown Disney. However, that is over now because TL is closed for rehab.

Yes, the cod nuggets were what she asked about, and that's what she was told.

I hope it is true as well!

It's just sinking in that we'll be at BC in less than 1 month! This will be the first time with the kiddos. My hubby and I stayed at the BC 8 years ago for our 10th anniversary. Did I mention that I'm excited!! I have a few questions.

1. I'm unsure of the pros and cons of online check-in. We'll be driving from PA, so we'll be arriving late afternoon. I'm thinking we'll skip the online check in unless there's a reason that we should. We do have some room requests, if that matters.

2. When we stayed at BC 8 years ago, the Marketplace sold the most amazing gelato. Do they still offer it?

3. I remember that there was a time that if you wanted a real egg (anywhere on Disney property) and not egg beaters that you needed to specifically ask. Does this still hold true?

4. Has anyone been to DTD lately? How horrible is parking in the late morning/early afternoon? My boys have a BBB appointment around 3:00 pm. I'd really much prefer driving and would be totally willing to valet. However, I don't think that's an option until after 4:00 pm. I thought we'd go in the late morning and have lunch first.

Thanks!!!

I'm really excited! I made reservations for YC CL LV for June 12-19, 2015. Would you please add us to the BOG list ?
