And apparently only YOUR facts are correct. You KNOW what the reps said to me??
Sorry, but you are calling me a liar when you say I am not reporting what really happened to me. Phrasing it another way does not change the facts.
You are holding yourself out as expert, but now you are a normal renter (albeit one who probably is friends with the agents and gets better treatment then a person off the street LOL!)
I have never reported anything that didn't happen to me in this thread. I am not sure why you think that only YOUR FACTS are correct.![]()
For another view of the aisles at National you might also try Flyertalk.com ( I am sure gmeh dislikes that entire group of posters, but there's a lot of truth and very little pixie dust!) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/national/868048-cars-mco.html
I will be posting my reports over there so that I don't have to be called a "liar" when I report there were no minivans or the agents were rude. Folks over there like the truth.
No, I have said over and over again that what you were told was incorrect. I have no doubt you were fed incorrect information, again, what I have an issue with is that you keep on repeating that incorrect information. I don't hold myself as an expert, but, I was trained and the fact that I no longer work there does not negate the fact that I know the rules. I know how many times I have walked a customer over to Alamo so they could select a vehicle from there. I know that there has been a shortage of cars and mini vans and SUVs have been substitued. I know that there are times when the mini vans are sold out at one time or another, however, that can vary from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute. That is one of the reasons I tell people to ask if they don't see what they want or what they have rented. I know that some agents can be very rude and very lax in customer care and I have never debated that, in fact, I believe I have apologized for their rudeness on more than one occasion. I have NEVER called you a liar. You have assumed that all by yourself and I take no responsibility for what you assume. I like flyer talk and go there now and then. I have no issue with people relating their bad experiences, however, you can tell who has the entitlement mentality and who does not just like anywhere else. I can also tell you some of the EC members have some of the most incredibly rude attitudes I have ever encountered. Most of the business people are the worst. Treating people who are trying to give great customer service like dirt is not the way to treat anyone. Thankfully, there are the really great customers who appreciate someone trying to help them, going to the computer and writing down directions to their destination (the printer did not print anything in the booth), helping them start the vehicle cause they could not figure out the push button start, speaking with a manager to get a customer something that would accomodate them better at a decent rate if not at no charge. You know, going that extra mile. You breeze in there, are in the garage for maybe 5 minutes, have a couple of bad experiences (not doubting you did), are told that that is not correct policy after you report them and you keep on reporting the same bad experiences over and over. I ask you to please stop, figuring that the issue had been cleared more than once, and you then tell me I called you a liar. That is quite a stretch. Drama queen comes more to mind.
Yes, I am a regular customer now and yes, I know people, but, don't expect to be treated any differently than any other customer. I pay the going rate, rent the size I need and select from the appropriate area. And, like anyone else, if I see something I would like, I will ask if it is possible, if it is, great, if not, no big deal. I don't feel entitled to anything.
Have a nice day.
