I was kinda hoping for B... I was just about there. When I contacted trackshack about the race I submitted the rep told me that he put down a finish time for me of 2:30..even though the 10k finish time when put into runners world calculator is less...and would have put me in b.


Oh well, gives me something to shoot for next year... and C is good. I will be able to not feel like I need to rush quite as much as if I were in with all those fast runners...



With or without race retreat? I do not have it... plan to suffer in the cold while I wait.

Just saw you quoted me. I don't have a race retreat. Maybe get together and hang around in the corrals until race start (not going to be too cold judging by the forecast).

Also can someone get me the list of whose meeting up for Kona. I had an idea that might be nice but I need to message the group to check and see about something?

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been MIA for the last few days. Things have gotten really ugly here. DH (and that D isnt for dear or darling) have been having problems for awhile. Lots of it he was blaming me for. Well this past weekend I uncovered the truth. He has been having an affair with the same woman for about 2 years now. SIGH!!! I have gone through the spectrum of emotions from relief to knowing my suspitions were right and I'm not crazy to fire raging mad. I feel bad for my kids that I will be away this weekend, but I haven't told them anything yet. I was so looking forward to this trip and now I feel like there is a big black cloud over it. I'm just hoping once I get to my happy place that Disney magic will do it's thing.

I leave tonight and will get to Disney around midnight. I will try to update everything tomorrow morning or tonight if I can't sleep. Can't wait to see everyone! It's the inner strength that I have gained from running that is holding me together and knowing that there are awesome Princesses out there! Girls rule! Boys drool! as my DD would say!

Any B runners hanging out in the corral WITHOUT the race retreat? I've been busy lately so I just figured out my corral placement (officially)

I'm not doing RR and I am hoping to be in B. I'm in C now and hoping to move up. I'm going to the expo first thing Friday morning so I will let you know where I will be. We should make a time and place to meet before going to the corrals so we can all buddy up. How about 4:15 infront of the merchandise tent? I will be dressed as Rapunzel and my bib number is 6793. If it is chilly I will have on a dark purle sweatshirt and maybe grey sweatpants. If 4:15 is too early let me know and maybe we could do 4:30. I'm hoping to get on the bus at 3:30 and be over there about 4:00. If traffic is as bad as it was marathon weekend that could be a whole different story.
Last year I left about that time and got over to Epcot pretty quick.

We may want to try to meet towards the coffee bar and the monorail entrance -- it can get crowded in front of Kona. I'll be wearing a pink tee with a peace sign on it
