WoW Brandi! That's a lot going on! Sounds good but very hectic! How did you get involved in the flag placement?

My grandfather is buried in Arlington plus the family of several friends. I love visiting there; so meaningful and beautiful.

Lots of trips coming up I see. My only trip after Florida is to visit my mom in PA. Her Parkinson's is worse and affecting her swallowing and speech and her cognitive functions are slipping and Macular Degeneration is now in both eyes.

We started placing the wreathes first and then it led to the flags, if you give me your Grandfathers name and location I will place one for him and send you a picture of it afterwards.

So sorry to hear about your mom, my grandmother also had the disease and it is a tough one for everyone. Prayers.

His name is: John Ward Leister but not sure of location. Maybe I can find out after I return from Florida in early May (leaving tomorrow).

Yes, mom's health seems to be taking a rapid downturn but I'm hoping she sort of plateaus out for awhile.
