2013 Refillable mugs

Have any of the new (2013) refillable mugs shown up at any of the vacation club resorts? If so what is the theme?

The Disney theme parks have announced the theme of their celebration for 2013 - 52 Weeks of "Limited Time Magic." The idea is that "unexpected experiences with an extra sprinkle of Pixie Dust" will show up randomly at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, and then will disappear when the next experience pops up.

I dunno but i hope that there are new ones. We have so many of the old beach ones that we started leaving them behind in the resorts instead of bringing them home.

Question about the current mugs. I have only ever seen the current design in pink, aqua blue and black. We have been there quite a few times since these mugs came out and we easily have at least 3 of each of the above mentioned colors... Has anyone seen any other colors recently? We are staying at AKV Kidani in June and would love for a mug another color thne pink, blue or black.

I miss the old wide bottom mugs and use my first one from All Star Sports all the time. It would be nice to have a choice when the new ones arrive.

Darn it! I have seen some people with orange, green, yellow and purpule ones in the past and was really hoping I might find one of those colors at Kidani. Oh well looks like we will be adding another pink, blue or black one to our ever growing collection of the SAME mugs!

I have a few of those myself! I personally REALLY miss the resort specific mugs! I get it its a cost thing and all but still I loved them!

YES! us too.
WE still have our old-old ones with the DVC logo of the 3 [yes three] snow peaks in the picture.

I agree with this! I loved collecting the mugs for every resort we stayed at. I even bought the Grand Floridian one when we weren't staying there because I wanted all the monorail resorts. Oh well, maybe they'll bring them back someday.

You are probably right, Bill. Once they get the new RFID room keys set in place, I bet the mugs come out, too. And access to the soda dispenser will come with your bracelet.

I bet you are both right. I read somewhere that they tested this out at one of the all star resort last year. Not with the bracelet though, but using the barcode like they do at the waterparks with the refill mugs.

Well I just figured it out the orange, purple and green one were only for the RFID test they did at the all star resorts last year!! Once the supply was done, they didn't replenish those colors! Darn it!! I wish they did!

Deb - I think you are right - it can only be a matter of time before soda access is linked to your bracelet. I hope that they factor in split stays when they do it.

Yellow was available at Wilderness Lodge. Haven't been there since Dec so don't know what their current supply may be.

I bought a white one at Vero Beach in May 2011.

I am another that liked the different Resort mugs.
