2013 Vacation Point Charts now available online

Disney Vacation Club® is pleased to announce that 2013 Vacation Point Charts are now available online to help spark your imagination as you dream up next year's vacations.

As you plan your travels, please note that Disney Vacation Club has adjusted the 2013 Vacation Point Charts for Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

The adjustments to the Bay Lake Tower chart stem from a scheduled reassignment of 10 rooms from Theme Park View to Standard View effective Jan. 1, 2013. This shift is based on Member and Guest feedback, and is designed to better reflect the rooms' views. At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Vacation Points required for Treehouse Villas are increasing based on high Member demand.

Increases and decreases within these two Resorts' charts keep the total number of Vacation Points for each Resort unchanged.

Printed charts will appear in a supplement to the annual Vacation Planner Reservation Tools book, scheduled to begin mailing early this spring. In the meantime, you may view the charts online at DVCMember.com. Simply click on the "View Vacation Points Charts" link in the "Plan My Vacation" section of the website.

Also remember that the new Disney Vacation Club Resort online booking tool is scheduled to debut on DVCMember.com on Jan. 19, further enhancing the magic of Membership!

We are waiting to hear if Disney will accept our offer on a resale BLT. If all goes well, we want to book for January 2013. Where can I find the 2013 point chart is it only available for members to see? If that is the case, will someone share with me the points for January 2013 at BLT for studios and 1bedrooms?
Thank you.popcorn::

Me too. We are waiting for our BLT purchase to go through. Our next trip is planned for Nov 2012, so this won't affect us right away, and we plan on banking 2013, but it would be nice to see how this is going to affect us.
Only BLT and SSR had points reassigned? That sounds like good news.

I'm betting the room we were in last year was one that got moved from theme park to standard. After all those points we spent, we got a view of the Contemporary and the underside of the monorail. Our next trip is lake view.

so excited to get the email, but when I went to log on so I could start planning my 2013 trip, the page is "currently unavailable":confused3 I will try again soon, but why send out the email when the page is down? Frustrated!

Try signing out and signing back in. It "appears" to go down sometimes, when in fact it doesn't like that you've been on another part of the Disney website, such as restaurants, etc.

grr! if disney is going to release the point charts, perhaps they shouldn't let the site crash or be unavailable when members want to see exactly by how much the treehouses are going up!

we are staying in the treehouses for the second time in may. dh and i always said how it was the best value but now i don't know since i can't see how much it increased. wah. i guess we'll just have to...ehem...BRANCH out to other resorts! ;)

Thank you! That was the problem. I had entered the sweepstakes earlier, so I had to log off the disney site first. Not to happy with the THV increase. Oh well, at least we got to enjoy them once.

I am a Boardwalk Villa owner and the 2013 point charts are the same as the 2012 point charts except for the fluctuation of Easter weeks.

Dang, they changed the point charts for Aulani for the last week of February. We were going to go then so we could take advantage of the lower points, but now it looks like I'll have to change my dates for my Big Island condo so I can get the cheaper Aulani points.

Here are the changes to BLT to analyze. Thanks mac_tlc for posting the link for 2013 for me.

My first question was "why did everything go up with nothing coming down?". But 10 rooms switching from TP view to SV is quite a lot of points over the year. It looks as though 2 BR in Premier season got the biggest hit. Makes sense as that is an extremely popular time.

I am staying in the treehouses for the first time in March due to a family member request. I'm glad we're doing it this year instead of 2013! Our 4 nights in the THV would be 30 points more in 2013. F and Sa increase from 50 to 58 and Su and M increase from 43 to 50. I don't think I'll be staying there in the future when they are so much higher than a normal 2 bedroom.

whew I was afraid of them uping the points at the boardwalk during food and wine as it was rumored. Thank goodness not all change is bad. I think making more rooms at bay lake into standard view is a benefit. I think some lakeviews could be made into standard as well -when you have to hang out over your balcony to see water is it really a lakeview?

My question exactly. Isn't there supposed to be a negative offset somewhere?
