Yep. I called in at 7am. Got through to a CM at 7:16 am & they weren't able to book anything. Said that the IT department is working on it. They have no idea when people will be able to book F&W events. Said to call back later today. Very, very frustrating.

To check for availability, you have to click through to the event - so, for me, I'm looking for demonstrations - then the culinary - once I get to the culinary demo page, there's the "Check availability" box to the right. It's not working for me, but it's there.

I follow that for Sweet Sunday's but there is no "check availability" option on the right?!?!?!

Did anyone really expect this to work correctly?

I can't imagine that the whole system is actually down. You can still check for availability and book regular dining on the website.

For the record:
Phone 1: On hold 28 minutes.
Phone 2: Busy signal for 27 minutes.

Oh I see, some of the pages have a section to check for availability. The Parisian breakfast does not. When I look at the 3D dessert there is a wonky check availability thing-ey that does not work.

Honestly, no, I didn't. But I was kind of hoping that maybe Disney was the kind of company that learned from past mistakes and fixed them. That isn't holding true, though, either.

Yes, actually. I've been fortunate enough that I can be ready to dial right at 7:00:00. I get dispensation to use our company phone system, which, I'll admit, usually gave me some advantages with where it dials out, and so forth (TL;DR, really). I usually have a whole list of events and I get whatever I wanted with no issue. I know something about phone systems and getting this fast busy is actually kind of bad. If there is an issue with making reservations, it's not all that hard to have a recorded message advising people of this. Then maybe idiots like me wouldn't keep whanging away...

You can only book the Sweet Sundays over the phone

I don't have one either - Is it a signature event? If so - I think those you can *only* book over the phone, so there probably isn't an online option.

The CM said that she could book regular dining reservations, just nothing for the F&W festival. I had her check a Kitchen Memories event & a deminar. She told me, "I was able to book the seminars yesterday for Chase Disney Visa holders, so I don't know why it isn't working today." Everyone is reporting problems.

Somehow I was lucky enough to get through exactly as the lines opened at 7 am. I didn't get an estimated wait time nor did it play any music. I was on silent hold as were some yesterday. However at 6:17 am a CM came on line. I was only looking for one luncheon which didn't have any "Chase" spots left by the time I got through yesterday but they DID have availability today

So I am all booked for the Italian Food and Wine Pairing on 10/10 and everything shows correctly on MDE.

The breakfast is probably one of the events that you can only book over the phone.

I didn't even look at the 3D desserts, because I'm probably not going if I can't get Sweet Seats, and cant book SS online either.

Yeah, I gotta say, I hope the onsite experience is a lot better than the experiences I've had trying to book stuff in advance. NONE of those have gone well.

What event are you trying to look at? I mean - we know the system is down so it won't work, but maybe we can get you to the page so that when it comes back up, you'll have it.

The signature dinners page does not have any check availability links (at least when I log in). Is anyone else seeing them?
