Where is the secret first floor laundry? I missed this! With 10 days in June I will need to do laundry especially the teenage boy laundry - so smelly so fast.

There are signs to it from the lobby. It is tucked away in a corner. Bring quarters b/c there is no change machine and it is a long hike back to the concierge desk!

Well, our last full day here has arrived. Jim and I have had a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Spoke with Teena yesterday, lay by the pool, dinner at Via Napoli, listened to Starship's show and ended the night at the Magic Kingdom for some shopping.

Teena, it was wonderful chatting with you and will keep in touch. Jim and I loved our stay here and are so looking forward to our December stay with our family. We may even sneak a fall trip in too.
disneydee hope you enjoy your stay and maybe I will see you in the lounge. Hanging out at the pool again today.

Aw, the saddest day! But it does help take the sting out of leaving to have another trip to look forward to! Hope your last day isn't rained out.

60 days to go......couldn't stand the wait.......so I decided to add a short trip with my entire family in 19 days Can't wait to see my niece and nephew (3 1/2 and 2 years old!!)

won't be staying at BC for this short trip , but we will all be at CSR!

I have an AP question for anyone who has one: I want to get one for my first trip...where do I purchase? Is there anyway to check online for AP discounts for June / July? Is it too late to get an AP discount for this time frame? I am completely lost as I have never had AP's.

I've bought our APs either on line, or when we arrive. The past 2 times we've had to go to Guest Relations to buy them because we had 1 or 2 day tickets to put down toward AP from having to buy for promos.
You will have to phone to see if there are any AP rates available for your dates. You may have to be flexible in resort choice.

I *think* that you just get a will call voucher if you buy them online. I bought mine at our local Disney Store (vouchers, I will need to visit Guest Relations to exchange them for "real" tickets). You can also wait and buy them when you arrive if you wish, and skip the whole voucher part.

Hi. I'm new to this thread. Forgive me if, my question has been answered repeatedly before. We are arriving June 8 for our first stay at BC and are very excited. I'm mainly curious about the size of the mini frige. Is it a small dorm frige or a tall dorm frige? With 2 toddlers, I just want to have the right size stuff. Thanks!

It also has a pop machine which can come in handy during the wee hours of the night when everything is closed and you're dying of thirst!

Hi everyone, this is Mrs. Buzzy the fly...

Last night Buzzy landed on a Sinking Treasure while doing laundry and he got so buzzed he started drunk dialing the bed bugs at the "No tell- motel" on I-4. I've confiscated his fly pad and fly phone until he sobers up and stops flying into the sliding glass door, over and over and over again!!

You people are a bad influence on him, what with all this talk of "Slushies" and Oreo bon Bons, whatever they are! My fly guy is supposed to be on a diet because he's gained so much weight eating at all the dumpster buffets! He can hardly fit in his jeans and we may have to make a trip to Flymart and get him sweat pants!!!

This is a really great thread with a lot of great tips but I'm not sure Buzzy can handle it. From now on he is not allowed in the laundry room with all the other drinkers!

I just did this recently. I bought the AP online and then picked it up at Will Call. They require photo ID and the CC you used when purchasing the AP. When I picked it up it was the new RFID plastic type card which made entering the parks quicker and easier

When you buy online you have a choice to print out the exchange voucher (free) or have the pass sent to you, which I would assume it becomes active when you first use it (pay shipping). When I bought ours I accidentally printed two of the same vouchers but I had saved both voucher numbers to my calendar. The CM was able to look it up no problem.

We bought ours ahead because it is easier for me financially to purchase one pass at a time but it doesn't save any time. If you are purchasing ahead solely because you are using THE AP room discount, I wouldn't worry about it. They will let you get the pass after you check in.

I know, but was wondering if anyone did the Disney Fine Arts Photography photo session with your family. If so how did it go? Is it worth the $? (And how much is it nowadays and what does that get you?) And did you do it at Y&BC? I really don't have too many pictures of all 3 of us together, usually one of us is taking the pictures haha. Thanks!

We have done this several years in a row at the POLY. Well worth the money for some great pictures of my family. We have a session booked at BC in a few weeks, so I can't comment on what it will be like there. We are doing the mini session, which is $150 for 20 minutes. Sounds like a short session, but we got great pictures. They then give you all the pictures on a flashdrive. The first year we did it, he took us to the beach at the POLY. The sand was too distracting for our small kids at the time, so now I request to skip the beach, so we get more pictures for our 20 minutes. Give it a try!
