Glad to hear that Bob's surgery went well. Hoping his recovery is speedy and uneventful

Just came home to get a few things done. Bob is sleeping in his room and his color looks great.

Thank you everybody for all the prayers and good wishes. You guys are all like family and you have no idea how much you are caring really means to us.

And Dee, thanks for the updates and super thanks to you for posting Lily's princess dancing debut on the thread. I hope everybody gets a good laugh out of it. I watched it numerous times today ... any time I was getting nuts waiting, I watched her video on my phone and I just thought of her and the dancing she is going to do at the beach in two weeks ... with her PopPop holding her hand!!

I'm SO glad Bob is doing well! Please keep us informed of how things are progressing.

Dee,
I sadly will not be staying at Beach Club in January. We are finally DVC members with the new Villas at the Grand Floridian as our home resort. Although we couldn't get a marathon weekend reservation there, we will be staying at BLT on points.

So sweet! My oldest son called my dad PopPop too. He passed away 10 1/2 years ago and I still love to hear that title.

I just heard from Teena:

"Surgery is over. Bob is on his way to recovery for next 4 hours, then his room. Doctor said he can speak and move his arms and legs. Next 24 hours they will monitor him very closely, especially his blood pressure, but so far it all looks good. Doctor told me it is safe to breathe now. I am so relieved! I'll report again after I see him. Because of the type of surgery, it will be 4 hours before he is moved to a room and I can see him. Good thing this is a soft chair!"



On behalf of Teena and Bob, I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers!!!

We are lucky to have such a great group of friends, and family, here!

Teena- I just signed up tonight on this forum (no longer a lurker) as I'm sitting by the beach club pool and my wife and kids have been thinking about your husband every day. They keep asking did you read anything about teena's husband? So happy to hear that he is doing well. We will keep thinking of you both. We leave on Sunday so I'm not sure if we will see you. So nice to meet you and make sure you save some of those tasteykakes for your hubby
