2012 Weddings!!

HI fellow 2012 Disney Brides! We are planning on getting married October 11, 2012 I am so excited for June 11th... its the day we go for the lottery on time and placement for the ceremony and reception!



When exactly is this happening? I was thinking of going down to WDW again in August, I may try to plan around this event!

Hey fellow DISers and Disney Brides/Grooms! I'm a long time lurker, and I'm excited to say that I finally get the chance to play with everyone!! My DF and I just got recently engaged, and he is totally on board (thankfully!) with us getting married at WDW! Our wedding date is 12/12/12 and we're planning on it being at SBP, although I'm positive the details will change a 1,000 times, but we're not changing our date! No matter what! We're still in the very early stages of planning, so I haven't started any PJ or anything yet, but I can't wait! Looking forward to picking everyone's brains for help and ideas!

The planning is going good. I just went to an invitation/stationary place yesterday to design our invitations. We were there for 2 hours The woman kept pulling books, upon books, upon books of samples, and I literally had to say, stop, the more you show me, the more I can't make up my mind! hahahaha!

Today I'm working on finishing painting the horseshoes for the escort and place cards and I also just ordered the sand ceremony set! whew! So, we're creeping along.

How about you? How's your planning coming?

YES very very EXCITED!!!

The planning is going good. I just went to an invitation/stationary place yesterday to design our invitations. Oh sounds so fun though! I need to get my invite mock up done as I haven't even thought about it or gotten any supplies for them yet

Guess after I get the save the dates out hopefully in July I will get working on the Invites

Amanda, I wish I had even just half of your craftiness talent. I can't glue two stick together so I had to go to someone to make our invitations.

Everything sounds like it's coming along wonderfully! I'm loving the horseshoes for escorts and place cards

I felt a bit stumped until a few days ago to be honest! We made our save the date booklets/magnets which went out about a month ago (I promise to post pics, I'm just so lazy when it comes to that sort of thing) Since then I hadn't really been inspired to make anything. I've since gone back into crafty mode and am ready to work on my flower girl basket and aisle runner.

You're so creative, I'm sure whatever you put together will look amazing You're actually what motivated me to start working on my own projects, I'm just so blown away by everything you do, a little jealous even

I am now going to be a 2012 bride! My Fiance' and I are hoping to get married on April 30th in Disneyland!

We decided to move our wedding to a Sunday so we are now pencilled in for November 11, 2012. This could always revert back to the original plans -less than 2 months until we hit our 16 month mark!
