Just wanted to give an update! I got my dress over the weekend, booked our officiant and heard from our planner for the first time yesterday! Everything really picked up it feels like once we hit the one yr mark

I got my LOA today. I'm gonna fax it back tomorrow. Tomorrow's going to be an awesome day. It's our 1 year mark (too bad I have to work a 12 hour shift).

It's been a kind of productive week for me. I went and got remeasured for my wedding dress on wednesday (so they can start to make it). Also, Simply Cinematic is getting a contract together for me, now all I need to do is start contacting officiants and I'll have most of my vendor's checked off my list! It's getting closer!!!

I'm hoping someone can help! I was reading the Passporter and it says if your locations are not at a convention center location you can sign 16 months otherwise you can only be penciled in and then sign at 12 months. We are currently planning for the wedding pavilion and ADH. Is it 12 months or 16 months???? I thought it was 12 months but when reading through it I'm now wondering if it can be 16 months....TIA

I'm pretty sure it will 12 months for you since you want the WP. And from what I've heard, no matter where you're choosing to get married, almost all of us have had to wait until the 12 month mark to sign our LOAs. I think they just like to dangle the 16 month window out there to see how much of a bridezilla we can be if things don't go our way.

Nothing like pixie dust, magic, dreams and false hope.

We're aiming for a November 2012 Escape wedding at SBP (flexible with dates) and dinner at V&As instead of a reception. It will just be the two of us as we're coming from Australia (we'll have an at home reception after we get back). Reading about all the hassles of organising room blocks, sending out STDs etc. I think I'm lucky in a way that we're not having guests!

It's very frustrating that I can't plan too much or finalise dates yet, but it's great to know I'm not alone! We're actually not oficially engaged yet (we have the ring but I have no idea when I'm getting it!) so I suppose I have that to look forward to.. and I'm holding off on starting a PJ until then too. It will be our first trip to WDW so I've been busy researching the different resorts, attractions etc. for our honeymoon.

Looking forward to chatting with my fellow 2012 brides!

We just got back from a wonderful 4 day trip to disney. It was so much fun! I can't wait to go back next year and stay for a lot longer.

YAY!!!! I so happy for you! I'm in the same boat, it felt way more productive once we hit our one yr mark too. It feels surreal that it's less than a yr away doesn't it?

And yes I'll share a pic of the dress soon! It's the Belle dress from the AA line.
