Day 26 Packing Hollywood Studios Narcoossees
This morning seemed like the beginning of the end, with the start of our packing for the return journey home. All in all, this took almost 3 hours with various chopping and changing. It is amazing how your purchases build up during the course of the holiday and we eventually ended up with 3 suitcases, 2 holdalls plus hand luggage.
Hitting the road, we made DHS at around 12:30. I had especially chosen this park to photograph Lights, Motors, Action, since the rumour of its pending closure in the future. We entered the stadium not long after it had opened and managed to get some good seats, however this bonus was short lived when I realised that I had left my DSLR battery in the charger back at OKW! I decided to make the journey back to go and collect it, whilst Sue and Emma visited the Backlot Express for brunch.
On returning back to DHS, I met up with Sue and Emma and we managed to grab a photo with the American Idol scout.

It was extremely warm today, so we took shelter beneath some canopies just as Mulch, Sweat n Shears arrived to perform. During the course of their set, Sue was singled out to go and join the band during their performance of Honky Tonk Woman. I videoed this, so unfortunately did not take any stills. After the song, the band kindly donated a set of drumsticks, which they each signed.

As the show ended, we made our way into Lights, Motors, Action, for the second time! We managed to get the same seats we had chosen originally, so all was not lost.

Returning back to the Streets of America, Mulch, Sweat n Shears were about to start another set, so we stopped to watch. This time, Emma was picked out to join the band and given an inflatable guitar to play. The finale ended with a scene similar to a traditional Who concert, whereby the guitars are smashed on the floor. Fortunately Axe, the regular band member did not join in!

Whilst wandering around the park, we had a few photopass pictures taken.

I then received a text message from Martin (burt) to say that a 2013 Quidco/Disney offer was available on the net but expired at midnight. I looked at my watch and it was 17:30, this meant 22:30 back in the UK. We rushed back to OKW and managed to secure the booking in time.
