As information the crowding out to the corrals for the 2011 Donald was due to a set of porta potties placed along the roadway out to the corrals. This was a first ever placement of the thrones and they were removed for the full on Sunday. Hopefully a lessons learned.

I thought it was strange, and that explains a lot.
The trickiest part of the relay is finding someone to run it with you. They have to be a complimentary speed and willing to forego the full for the relay. ARGH!
I'm registered for the half (with the disney visa discount) and the marathon relay - I'm a sucker for new bling.
It was weird though, because I had to register through two different sites. I registered for the half through disney visa, and the marathon relay through rundisney. Even if they weren't offering a discount on it, I wish I could have registered all at once through the disney visa site.
I also got the e-mail for the special Disney Rewards program offer. It says save $ 35.00 off half marathon. Since the regular registration (not early) is $ 160.00 and the registration thru Disney Visa is $ 125.00, is that the $35.00 savings? If so, then it's really only a $15 savings if you register early anyway right?
I'm confused!
Thanks for any help. I can't wait to register for my first 1/2 marathon.
Yeah. You register Leg 1 and then Leg 2 in the same form. Leg 1's runner is the only one who has to supply a proof of time if they wish to start in an earlier corral.
I'm all registered and ready to go. I'm running Goofy again and my wife's doing the half. Well, she will if there's no sleet. If there is, she'll go back to bed again.
Same! I'm working on my DBF to get him to run it with me but he's not exactly thrilled with the idea yet. I'm sure we'll start to see many a post of people looking for relay partners.
I wonder if since only Leg 1 needs a proof of time, if that's a good way for runners without a proof of time to get into a race by teaming up and running Leg 2 on a team with someone with a good pace. It wouldn't benefit them finish-wise but it would give them a lot of cushion from the sweepers if they're nervous about that...

Once I hear back from my charity if they are doing a Disney team for 2012 than I am in for Goofy #3. My sister was telling me to only do the half but there is something about going Goofy for me once I went Goofy I can't go back. For some reason doing Goofy seems easier to me than doing just one race. I know I am GOOFY what can I say LOL
