I know it might be early, but I have a few Qs about this years F&W fest. Does anyone know the 2012 dates of the festival yet? Anyone know about a f&w pass of some kind that you can sample whatever you want? Did this include wine or just food. Remember last years cost? Last year, we went during this time but used a few snack credits. I think we may enjoy sampling more stuff next trip. Thanks for the help! :goodvibes

As far as I know, there isn't a F&W pass - if there was we would definitely get one as we get one of each food item offered at the kiosks and share. You do have to buy each item to sample. What you may be confusing this with is the F&W gift card - a small gift card that is attached to coiled springy bracelet like the ones used for keys. You can put as much money on the card as you want and refill it as necessary and it does have a F&W design on it.

September 28 - November 11, 2012................Have fun!!

we went last year and in the 11 months leading up to the trip we ordered a $25 Disney gift card each payday from The Disney Store (free shipping and no tax on gift cards), by the time of our trip we had plenty of $ and ate like pigs. We go a few times a year and now this is a must for us! We have 14 folks going with us in June and they have all been doing this for the past 6 months!:thumbsup2

the op could also be thinking about the F&W Classic over at the Swan/Dolphin that does have an all you can eat/drink pass that takes place during Epcot F&W...that pass is definetly worth it if your a big eater/drinker

Nope, there's no all you can eat pass for the World Showcase. Closest you can get is to use a gift card, but that's exactly like using cash, so you would not be saving any money - it's just for convenience. Or attend the Party for the Senses, where you can sample as much food and drink as you want for the cost. (It's not cheap, basic entry fee for 2011 was $135 per person plus tax, additional $115 for assigned seating and VIP treatment in the Wine View Lounge. Offerings are different from World Showcase booths)

Since snack credits were mentioned, I figured I'd mention again how people used snack credits from the dining plan.

Each food and wine kiosk will have the menu board out front and usually one overhead. The eligible items that allow snack credits are foods and non-alcoholic beverages. The items will have a dining plan logo next to them.

This is an example from 2008. The menu for 2012 and prices will be different. But the logo should be there. In this example, the escargot and quiche have the little square logo next to them, but the merlot and vouvray wines do not.

. . . Anyone know about a f&w pass of some kind that you can sample whatever you want? . . .

1) No way.
2) WDW wants all the money it can get.
3) And, during F&W, it gets a lot !
. . . $3-$8 per food approx 2-bite sample
. . . $3-$7 for 2oz wine sample

Thank you!! I have no idea how you got the dates since when I called WDW
the CM didn't even know. lol!!:thumbsup2

Epcot's 2011 F&WF International Marketplaces menus and prices.

As the pp mentioned there is no 'pass' but a Disney Gift Card with plastic bracelet worn on the wrist is a similar concept.

:)Thanks!

The party sounds fun but I doubt we'd be doing that w/ a little one.:confused3 But thanks for taking the time to mention that. Maybe someday!!

Last year I ate a couple things & got full fast! So, they'd make more $ on me w/ a pass. LOL! :lmao: I thought I'd be more likely to try more things for fun if they had some sort of pass. But your so right on most people going just to sample everything.

It is definitely not recommended for children (the first post didn't say you were bringing a child). I have not yet been to the Swan/Dolphin Classic but I am not sure it would be recommended for children either. Maybe someone who has gone could elaborate.

The dates have been out since before the end of the 2011 festival. They're printed in the back of the Festival guides.

An even better deal is if you have a Target charge or Target debit card. Target sells $25 and $50 Disney gift cards - they are located by the entertainment gift card rack that has gift cards for restaurants, movie theaters, etc in the CD's, DVD's, and books section of most Target stores. If you buy them with your Target card, you get 5% off - no tax on gift cards.
