2012 Annual Dues Statement

I have not received mine yet, but we live in Ontario Canada so they usually take longer. I checked on line and see the balance.

:scared1:My fees are up almost 9%. The bulk of the increase is in the Maintenance/Operating Expenses and the Taxes. I would love to know how come the operating expenses have gone up around 10% in one year.

Both resorts we own at went up about the same amount.

I guess they can no longer say they don't jump by every much each year!

IMO the possibility exists that the former Disney executives who got fired for setting Aulani's dues to low, may have done the same thing at other resorts. We will never know the extent of their actions and/or if it was intentional or an oversight.

Seems funny that they get fired and the Association gets a new Treasurer and all or our dues go up.

Received my statement for BLT today in Switzerland. Envelope was postmarked 12/31/2011.

That's correct, hold on to your money as long as you can.

Unless you have a points reservation with a check-in date between Jan. 15 and Feb. 15, in that case the dues are considered late on the first day of your booking and you wouldn't be able to check into the resort until your dues are paid in full (obviously doesn't apply for members with monthly direct debit)

Thanks Bill and Brandis!

No worries - next expected trip is someime in 2013;)

I have a dental bridge going in this month and even with 50% coverage that's alot left to come out of our pockets:laughing: being able to safely put off dues til Feb 10th helps a bit ~

Thanks!

Do you know this to be fact. My info says that the dues are not past due until after 2/14/12.
