I did the 4 night bahamian because weve really been wanting to try a cruise. The fact that the dream will be out and pretty much brand new pushed me over the edge. It wasnt hard to convince DFi, i just showed him some pictures of the food and told him food was included in the price. That put him

Has anyone booked their room or any part of their trip for 2011? I just booked our cruise, but I want to try and call to book our room soon. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had any luck yet.

We will be booking our DVC room at 11 months out. But have already booked a cruise on the Dream ship.

Right now its going to be April 16, 2011. No Disney. We have too many friends who couldn't afford getting out there, and I REALLY want them all there, so it'll be in Phoenix, AZ...

Today, I've been thinking of the botanical garden or this other place called the Sanctuary. I have no clue on the reception.

Are people being pencilled in for as late as September 2011 now? I didn't know that they did that? I'm panicking now that i need to have contacted them about a date! I'm hoping for October 2011.

I was very surprised to read that somebody was pencilled in for September 2011. Don't panic - I believe that some people get pencilled in for Wishes weddings about 18 months before at the earliest so you are not leaving it too late

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while. We are also planning my brothers wedding for May.

They did pencil us in but told us to call in June to actually book it. The date is saved but they couldn't give us any information yet on where the ceremony would be. We hope they have the secret deck 7 on the dream as well.

Change in plans, weve moved it to November 2011. DF wants the Friday or Saturday before Thanksgiving but I just dont know if that is a smart idea or not. I mean, right before Thanksgiving??? When do Christmas decorations go up? Are the rooms and DDP at a premium this time of the year? Any info or opinions are appreciated!

I'm not sure how rates are that weekend, but I know if you did it say a Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving, that this is considered one of the best times of the year to visit. The decorations will be up, and rates will be at their lowest of the year. If it doesn't matter what date you choose, I would suggest doing it the week after Thanksgiving. (Not the Friday or Saturday immediately after, the FOLLOWING weekend.)

I KNOW I've read this post before, and I can't believe I didn't put my hat in the ring!

We're pencilled in for May 20, 2010, at the Wedding Pavillion. We're hoping for the American Adventure Parlour for a reception and a Dessert Party at either Fantasmic or Illuminations.

I'm so excited - we're meeting with our wedding coordinator Michelle on May 17! Woo Hoo!

We were going to get married in November, 2011, but we went in November, 2008 and we froze our noses off. I don't think people from Chicago will want to go somewhere where it's cold - they can stay home for that!

But with a May wedding, we get the benefit of Flower & Garden!

I'm somewhat new to the boards...I've been lurking quite a while though.

We're penciled in for March 27, 2011 at the Yacht Club Gazebo and a reception at Ariels.

I'm super excited and super anxious to start "officially" planning everything!

I'm not really a "bride" I guess but we are planning a vow renewal for our 20th wedding anniversary. We are thinking about Sunset Point (at the Poly). But it will depend on how many people decide to come along. Anyway, we're hoping for April 13, 2011 (around 5pm).
