August will be our 1st time as DVC members. We are looking at going in March 2011.

DH asked for an extra day of vacation next year and got it. We just added another day to our trip - 10 days!!! Some day I will make it to that dream of two weeks but that will probably take the help of winning the lottery.

that's fantastic! We are only doing 8 days. Our hands are tied by school regulations . . . No more than 5 days out per educational trip . That's ok, though. I'd rather go for fewer days than deal with extreme crowds and heat.

FINALLY..you can add me to the list. I will be there September 14 - 24, 2011! Pretty sure we will be at POP again! I will be so happy when they release prices in August and I can book! I feel SO much happier having something booked even if it IS a year away! Just gives me time to plan...and plan...and plan....and...well, you get it! Happy planning all!

So, our trip plans have changed. We were originally going to go in January 2011, but now my best friend has to have knee surgery and won't be able to afford both surgery and Disney. We agreed that her health comes first, so we've postponed our trip. Right now, we're looking at November 2011, probably at POR.

Ok so we are planning to go after our cruise arriving at WDW Sept 15 and are planning to stay until the 20th. I think it will be POFQ and so far just me, DD and DGS. I am hoping they will have FD again then too.

Add us to the list please. After much debate we have decided to go in August 2011 and hope for free dining. We have decided to try POR Riverside this trip, looks nice and friends of ours stayed there in March and they said it was great. Only one more month to go before I can book and finalize dates .

Count me in please! We are planning to visit WDW and Orlando for our first time October 1- 15, 2011. The first 7 nights will be onsite at POR (we are a family-of-five) and the next 7 nights will be offsite but not decided where yet. Then we are booked to do a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise on Freedom of the Seas. I'm so excited and just can't wait - it still seems such a long way away!!

Count us in we are going May 21- May 31 we are staying off ground to save some money. I am surprising my 2 boys they will 14 & 7 on the trip with the Star Wars weekend we have never done this so I am so ecited I too am already planning and making list I have been on ebay and bought oins for trading and even got some great Star Wars ones to surprise them with. Any dvise or tips for this event is very much welcomed

Heading there in January, but still not sure of exact dates (either 1/2 thru 1/8 or 1/12 thru 1/17), and can't make up my mind on where to stay (want to stay at AKL, DD likes AKL, CB, and POP, I like CSR due to it having queen size beds at a Moderate price!). I'm waiting to see what fabulous deals await us! I'm going to at least book as soon as rates come out in August and then change as necessary.
Planning on just myself and DD as DH is anti-Disney. (Oh well, his loss! )

Us! We were going to be going next month but I found out I was pregnant with baby number six in May and being sweltering hot at Disney does not sound to appealing right now. SO we are postponing to November/December 2011. I am thinking Sat-Sat, the Saturday immediately following Thanksgiving. I can't wait to book it. Planning on staying at POFQ.

We're going the first week of March 2011. This will be our 3rd trip at this time. Last 2 times, we stayed at Pop. This time we'll be staying at the Dolphin, and I'm really excited! It will be me, DH, and kids who will be 8, 6, & 3 at the time. We may fly with our best friends who are going to Universal, and we're meeting my dad and stepmom for a day or 2. We're staying for 7 days. Can't wait!

We will be taking our 5th family trip next June. DH, DS and I are going on from 6/4-6/11 and then DH will fly back home. I'm a teacher, so DS and I are going to stay for another 4 days or so. We're planning on staying at Caribbean Beach for the first time. Can't wait! Headed to Pop this September with my BFF, her DD and my DS.

We left July 5th and I think I already had most of next year's trip all planned out! Please add me to the July list. We'll be back at the Pop as I can't convince DH that anwhere else has the great busing situation that the Pop does. He actually jokes that if we buy DVC he'll use our points to stay at Pop every year. Anyway, I'm excited to actually do the 180 day thing this time as we are usually last minute planners. Glad to be here and a part of a group that will help time go more quickly!

We are going! This will be our first trip to WDW!
We are planning on the 1st week in May. This will also be our 11th anniversary. We are pretty flexible with our dates.

I cannot wait until August, when the prices come out!

I was getting a little bummed that there weren't any 2011 threads started yet... not as much fun planning and being excited all by yourself!

We are planning a pre-Christmas trip in December 2011...

Can anybody give me info on when we can actually book this trip? I'm guessing the calendar will be opened up when rates are announced in August? Also, when do tickets for all the special Christmas events become available?
