It seems my earlier thread on this has fallen off the forum cliffs never to be seen again. *MODS* - I searched for the previous thread, if you can retrive it and merge them together!

How is everyone's training! What do we have now? 3 Weeks from tomorrow? YIKES!!

We are a bit behind in our training due to in laws visiting, and Ive been sick this past week, and not able to run. Our longest run to date was scheduled for tomorrow but I now have to work, so will have to do it alone on Monday instead. Sigh.

I got my second peak run done this morning and am ready to go. 16 next week, 12 the week after that, and then it's race day! Let's hope we get cloudy skies and 40-degree weather. :)

Haven't hit 20 yet hoping for a cooler day this week. Running the Houston half the week before then onto dc for mcm

I actually ran 26 yesterday. Gotta love that Galloway training plan. First time I've actually run 26 in training for a marathon. Hadn't planned to do the entire 26, but there were several in my group who are running their first marathon at MCM and were convinced they had to do the 26 mile training run, so I stuck with them till the end.

Doing a half next Sunday as a training run, then 8 the following weekend, then on to DC!

And absolutely John, hoping for clouds and upper 40's. We started in the 40's yesterday, but finished in the low 70's.

I had a tough run today after being sick for the past week and not running. Not as great as I had hoped and the whole time I was thinking "What did I get myself into"

Im excited to go, even if I have to walk the last 6 miles. LOL:rotfl: and excited to get see some friends that I havent seen in awhile in the DC area.
