2011 Horror Nights

No discounts for anyone on Express passes...only admission tickets.

Yep, though I think there was a time when they first started the EPs (back when it was a booklet of coupons) that you could get a discount on them with an AP. Not 100% sure though.

Can anyone tell me what has been said so far for this year? Hopefully the website is more like Bloody Mary...that year was so fun and interactive. The updates were so much fun and the website just seemed to be more detailed!!

I don't think anything at all has been even rumored at this point. And I agree with you, I think that was the best they have ever done with their site. By far.

I agree! HHN's website was awesome for 2008! Lately, HOS's website is way better..

So are they not going to do a website like the years past since they already have it up? Usually we don't know the theme...why are they doing it so different?

we just got are tickets:cool1:(for three) with express pass ,with a one day two park pass with express pass. It came out to over 800.00. I new it would be a bunch but i have to admit it kind of caught me off guard. I have no regrets just thought I share It with you all. Where so excietd,my DS and his DGF are so into horror movies this is like the superbowl of halloween events for them.:cool1:

Waiting to see where the Rush of Fear (ROF) Pass with HHN express will price out, still listed as 'coming soon'. AP section of HHN states the ROF is $54xx+...anybody have a prediction when it will be announced and how much $?popcorn::
My Disney portion of Oct trip keeps shrinking;)considering doing HHN on 10/1 instead of WDW that day if price is right.

epp's have always cost more than the hhn tix.

i'm waiting to see the ap rates for rof w/ epp too.

Just wanted to share that I Can't Wait!! HHN is THE event I look forward to each year.

It's getting extra exciting now since they've started construction...

It'll probably be just under $140 for the Rush of Fear with express.

okay, so that would translate into roughly $85 for the EP portion, good deal just hope not 'too good', resulting in so many people taking advantage of it that the EP lines will be slammed.

Well, last year the FFP with express was $80 more than just the FFP. I would not be surprised if that amount went up and it is hard to say for sure whether the rush of fear pass would add any less for express. So I think $85 is a pretty safe bet if you're expecting a small increase.

So I am not a drinker and my DS and his DGF along with that are not eather,so is the celebrateing say get out of hand and or over celebrateing for us non drinkers?. Now I am not one to say what people say or do but does the drinking ever get out of hand?. Theres a diffrence between happy drinkers and ones that make a party very misserable. Which one i am i more looking at?

All kinds of drinkers attend HHN...some hold their liquor better than others. I don't drink and I've never really seen anyone get completely out of hand. I just ignore them.

I need some advice about the tickets for HHN.

We are travelling from the UK and intend to spend more time at US/IOA/SW/BG etc rather than the Disney parks (we have teenagers). I was going to buy orlando flexiticket plus.

I also want to do one HHN and would like to book this in advance. When trying to book online for HHN i am asked to also purchase a park day ticket.

Does the orlando flexiticket not count for buying a HHN ticket? do i have to buy an additional day park ticket?

Sorry if sounds confusing but i am!!

The flex does count but you won't be able to purchase the discounted HHN ticket online. In the past people have phoned Universal a got them to add it over the phone buy reading the code on their flex, or you could just wait and do it at the park.

I know you want to sort out the tickets now but there's little chance of it selling out before you get there if you do wait.

This may have been asked but I can't find it... if I purchase S/S do I actually have to stay or can I get in with that ticket after the gates open for general admission? I'm going two nights w/ S&S and EP but just don't want to hang around for that hour both nights.... Thanks!

You can do either. The S & S upgrade is simply a discounted HHN ticket for folks who are already in the park and would like to stay but you don't have to use it the same night. It's still a valid HHN ticket so you can leave the park at closing and then enter with the general public if you wish.

I was surprised to see the number of security present (and that's just the uniformed which i assume is supplemented by off-duty PD - who don't mess around - let alonewhatever plain clothes security i'm sure are onsite). The show of force alone should deter any idiot in the making, drunk or just garden-variety trouble maker, IMO
