i just called and there is not a pin associated with our names. with the dates other DISers have stated it would work for our trip which is july 7-14, i have also checked all of our emails and we got nothing sure hope we get one before our trip

I received a post card a week ago or so for 10% off rack rates. What sort of junk is that Disney? The deals on their website are better than that. At any rate, I went ahead and booked the kids play free because I have two young ones and it will save me over $400. If free dining shows up, then I'll switch. It is nice to know, however, that some people got PINS even though they had a vacation booked. I wondered this.

Hi there! I just got a free dining pin code in the mail today. (snail mail) Does anyone know what the length of stay requirements are in order to use it? The postcard states other length of stays may be used with the pin code but, doesn't detail it and I haven't had time to sit on hold and ask someone.

I am coming to Fla the 3rd week in June to volunteer at Give Kids the World Village (by myself) and I love the idea of free meals. I realize also, I would need to buy at least a one day park ticket- but the postcard also doesn't detail that.

Anyone know for sure?

Well it looks like we will be paying for the dinning plan in Nov. or Dec. Because we want to stay Mod. Hubby won't stay Value anymore. Did it once and he didn't like it. Said, when he comes back from the parks ,he wants to feel relaxed. From what I have read DDP is going to be counter service at mods. If it is free. So what do you experts think? Would there be any discount for us? I have used Dreams unlimited before, Maybe try them again? Not sure what to do now. Thanks guys, you are the only people that know my pain

I would put money on Disney announcing something March 28 since the Kids Stay and Play offer is good till March 27. Disney very rarely over laps promotions.

I too am waiting on Sept free dining. Its the only way I can go with my 2 kids. I wish the ages for Stay and Play were a bit older. My DD is 10 and my DS is 8. The funny thing is my 10 year old is the size of a 8 year old. They look like twins. I guess I am too honest for my own good or I would book them as 8 and 9 year olds. Oh well....

Can someone give an example of a pin code email? I receive so many different Disney emails that I don't want to miss something. Who does it come from? We have our vacation booked for August 10-19. So, if the pin codes are good from 4/3-8/13 and I am fortunate to get one, does this mean I get 3 days of free dining or my whole vacation? I have never done a dining plan before and since all 3 of my girls are now over 10, it would be wonderful.

To make your day go smoothly, plan a schedule of activity before you hit the road. The park is big, and if you don't plan ahead you will find yourself walking more than necessary. Having a daily schedule of activities will help you to keep a calm head, ride on all of the rides you planned on, and see all of the characters on your list.

How do I get Disney to send me pin codes/special offers?

We did free dining Sept 2010 and it was wonderful. We want to book again for Sept 2011, but (like everyone else) don't know if there will be another offer of free dining for that time period. I'd love to get any kind of discount pin code! Any advice on how to get my name on that list?

I don't know if there's a rhyme or reason for getting pin codes, but I did notice that soon after I starting searching for a vacation on the Disney websitbe (and I'm registered with a username and password, I think), I suddenly got the email for free dining. Can't hurt to try messing around with the website and checking prices so they see you're interested. Also, I've heard some people actually call Disney to see if they have a pin attached to their name. Since you went last year, you just might have one so give it a try! Good luck!

I am sooooo hoping to get a PIN by Monday as it is the day I need to pay my final payment! Am I correct in that once the trip is paid for, you cannot apply a PIN that is received afterwards?

I went on a DVC tour on Feb 21st and my tour guide stated that they were not releasing FD to the public anymore. Now she may have said this because she wanted the sale or maybe its true but I am waiting for one too. If not I loved the 7 for 4 deal. Or I could use the gift card deal. I guess I'm flexible

Yeah maybe but they just had the free dining available to the public but you had to book by Dec 2010. Which sucks cause I didn't know I could go this year until a couple of weeks ago and now I am kicking myself in the behind for not booking in December. I hope they re release free dining or I get a pin code for Sept.

I am working with a General Manager at one of the resorts and they also said that there would be no more general release free dining this year. She also "alluded to the one that ends 8/13" is the last pin code for dining this year. Now take this with a grain of salt, but she really sounded genuine. (she is trying to fix a problem for me, so I would assume if she could get me something she would)
