We LOVE Captain's Grille for breakfast! I'm a foodie & have lots pics of the buffet, if anyone wants to see them I can get them to you.

I would LOVE to see a pic of the buffet when you get a chance! Thanks!

Oooh, I want to see, too!

Some of you are aware that I have a little "electronic hoarding" issue. I also have another well-kept secret: I am a food porn addict!

One of the projects I would like to complete is a thread or threads of food pictures/reviews from the YC/BC restaurants and link that to the Dining section on the first page of this thread.

That is a long way of saying... Please feel free to post the pictures from the Captain's Grille here or if you were to start a thread in the Resort Picture forum called Captain's Grille breakfast buffet, you can be sure I'll be peeking!

Hello staying at BC from 10/27 through 11/4 2012. I am very interested in the noodle swap.

I just checked the dates over on the Swap List. Micknme has the noodles from Oct 21-Nov 1, and then LocaRoja is signed upon Nov 3.

That only leaves a couple of days free (part of Nov 1, Nov 2 and part of Nov 3). :sad2:

As your trip nears, perhaps you and the others who have the noodles for the same period can discuss a time-share agreement.

Who knew a date with the Noodles would be more difficult to get than a CRT breakfast reservation!

I wish I was at Captain's Grill right now eating a Lobster Roll! OMG! Those are awesome!!!!

natebenma......since we're going in MARCH, we're not going in MAY, so our names can be removed for the dates in May and for the noodles in May.
Lulu's Mom, May 11-19 BC -timeslot would be available to someone else since I know May is full.

Thank you very much~ :goodvibes

PS....we're all set for March! YEAH!!!

OK, I took you off the May guest list and noodle list. Thanks for letting us know!

So...I just had to share.

At 10:00 this morning, I won almost $500 on the radio. They are doing a "plastic payoff" game where you submit your credit card or other bill and they will pay it off (up to $1,000). I entered and they called my name at 10:05 and I immediately called back (you have 10 minutes to call), so they are paying off my bill...which I have actually already paid. So when they send me that $$, it's going toward my Disney bill.

I'd also won some $$ back in December, plus a holiday bonus and we get reimbursed for unused sick time at year's end...put all of that together and our Disney trip is almost completely paid off. :cheer2:

That is AWESOME! Congrats!

Here ya go! Feel free to use them any way you want. I plan to eat there on both March trips so I can take better ones then if need be.

OMG that's so awesome! And here I was excited that I cashed in my Quick Rewards today for a $25 Disney gift card (to use for Captain's Grille breakfast of course!) Now I'm excited for you!

Hey everyone! My family and I are going to the BC in May! :woohoo: We are getting a water view room and I was wondering how the view is for a water view room? Thanks!

That game was replayed on TV last night. I don't know which channel...ESPN? NFL network? We were trying to get back to the Celtics game and my husband kept hitting the wrong thing and I saw the Giants and thought it was a replay from Sunday, but then my husband said "No, that's......." And we quickly changed the channel.

:rotfl2: We would have done the same!

Hi, I just booked a couple days at the Beach Club for next week. We were booked for a week at WL, but last week I booked at excellent deal on a 3 day cruise in the middle of our week at WDW. So we decided we would do a sort of split stay and try a couple new resorts. We are going to be at BC Jan 31-Feb2, on the Dream Feb 2-5, at Poly Feb 5-7.

We are looking forward to SAB and quick walk to Epcot

The Captains Grille has a breakfast buffet that's really great. There is a large selection and the servers understand that you are in a hurry and they will do their best to accommodate your need for speed!

When we went for lunch we were in a hurry to get back to the parks. Our Waitress realized this and let us know that we could have our dessert gelati (or ice cream, I forget...) in a "to go" cup so we could enjoy it on the boat back to DHS. How nice was that!

~Marlton Mom

We did breakfast at CG as well. We did the buffet but my step dad is an omelet guy. The waitress said that they will do any eggs to order as part of the buffett you just have to ask the waitress and she'll put the order in. I think he got an omelet with 3 or 4 items in it.

Hi We are staying at the BC April 12-14 and would love to host the noodle family in our room.

Why thank you very much! We won't be much trouble and I think Pastina has gotten a handle on the kids jumping on the beds when you are at the park!

Be sure to remember your pool goggles and don't forget that each person needs to show their room key card to the guards before they will be allowed into the gated pool area. Each day you will be given a different colored wrist (or ankle if you like to wear them there) band to wear for the day. If you go to the pool and then leave, you can choose to remove the band, but if you want to get back in the pool later the same day you have to show your room key card again. Once you have a band for the day, then all you have to do is show it the next time you go to the pool. Remember each day has a new color band and to get a band you will have to show your key card.

We've made more than one trip back to the room to help people go back and get their room key cards.

You wouldn't by any chance be staying Club Level would you? I just love those home made potato chips, and the fact that I'm a pool noodle only makes me that much more buoyant when I, overindulge in the club level goodies! :thumbsup2

If you're not then that's OK.... we'll still love you!

We can't wait to see you and everybody else and we especially like to play with the kids in the pool!

Paul, Pastina, Penny and Ramen

Just noticed that Disneymom2boys stay overlaps with mine by 6 days for the Noodle swap - I guess we will work out some kind of shared custody for those days???

So far there have been no "noodle custody battles" so I'm assuming it won't start with me! :lmao:

I am beginning to plan a trip for this September that will be a split stay between AKL and BC. I'm considering renting points and staying at the BCVs. I like the decor of the regular BC rooms bettern than the villas and would prefer a nice view, but the savings might convince me.

I know the villas have their own pool, but can guests of the villa also use SAB?

With a waterview room, you should be looking at either the BC quiet pool, Stormalong Bay or the Crescent Bay Lagoon.

I looked through my "view collection" and I have quite a few YC water views but not many from the BC. If a couple of you have pictures of a water view from a past stay, please post.
