A ruffled potato chip with sour cream for me.

Tortilla chips with good home made HOT SALSA. To me that those hot bottled salsas(PACE), taste like ketchup.

Exactly....almost 2am for me and PREGNANT...I had to scrounge what I could in teh fridge...I mixed sourcream and ranch dressing with my tortilla chips...lol


What is good tho..is salsa mixed with soft cream cheese... MMmmmm

You should try red/green jelly mixed with cream cheese! YUMMY!!!!

My minimum preference is a ridged chip and french onion dip. The premium choice is Wise Ridgies and B&L Snax French Onion dip. I think they are regional brands.

I love dipping chips in ranch dressing. I also like bacon and cheese dips and chili dip (jar of chili + block of cream cheese and microwave until all melty).

Definitely Hidden Valley Ranch powdered dip that you mix into sour cream. I use fat free sour cream so I can feel OK about eating even more chips!

Yep - if I'm making it myself, this is the one I use. Add a spoon/squirt of mustard for some added 'bite'.

But usually I'm lazy - the Lay's dips are really, really good. They make Ranch and a French Onion.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks of "chips,dip,chains, and whips." Weird Science! What a classic.

I prefer homemade onion dip with lays ridges or wise potato chips. However it must be taken away from me cause I have no self control.

Sour cream with Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix. My SIL has made this for years. Everyone loves it. Simple to make....mix both ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use. Best if made at least an hour ahead of time. Putting in two envelopes of the soup mix makes a heartier dip.

Ditto! Except I use Knorr's Spring Vegetable Soup Mix.

Sour cream mixed with a pack of Mrs. Grass onion soup mix. You have to let it set a bit to softened the onion. I like it 1000 times better than the Lipton mix.

I need to add that to my grocery list for today.

I'm back to my DD's now (my son-in-law dragged me away from the lake kicking and screaming last Sunday night - LOL) and the other night I saw her eating chips and dip.. I asked her what kind of dip it was and she said it wasn't - it was Ranch Salad Dressing.. I gave it a try and oh my!!! I could have sat right down and eaten an entire bowl of it with my Lays potato chips.. Never thought of using salad dressing before.. Anyone else do this?

sofetend cream cheese (add milk, stir so smoth and creamy) with garlic

My favorite although now I've converted to sour cream with garlic. It's easier to make and stays creamy if I put it back in the fridge (the cream cheese refirms up).
